Bob Holt bought Mears, yes a minnow and somewhat failing business for £50,000 and took it to IPO and made a fortune for himself. He was seen by one large shareholder at Mears for not looking after the shareholders and only looking after himself.

It's important to know who your enemies and friends may be when it comes to investing.

The article in the link is about ousting Bob Holt as Chairman of Mears.

As I understand it he worked for Mears, a somewhat failing business, bought it for £50,000 and took it to IPO. Sounds to me like he's in it for himself.

He saw an opportunity, bought it on the cheap and made a fortune out of it for himself.

Maybe Bob Holt will look to buy REVB on the cheap. According to this article link Bob Holt bought Mears Group for £50,000 in 1996 and took it to IPO some years later.

REVB'S interim results, etc., due within 2 weeks so it looks like more will be known soon about its future.

The interim results announcement for Revolution Beauty (REVB) will also contain details of a capital markets event at which Bob Holt CEO and Elizabeth Lake CFO will outline Revolution Beauty's strategy, growth ambitions and plan to deliver the full potential of the Company.

The date for the capital markets event will be announced in due course.

Revolution Beauty Group PLC results showed revenue of GBP184.6 million for the year ended on February 28, 2022, up 35% from GBP136.7 million the year before.

Pretax loss, however, widens to GBP44.9 million from GBP17.8 million.

Looking ahead, REVB says that in the event of a covenant breach arising from share suspension, the firm would be "reliant on its lenders not requiring immediate repayment of the outstanding loan or obtaining alternative finance in order to continue to operate as a going concern".

I was talking about working capital which is current assets including cash minus current liabilities including borrowings and excluding the Medichem deferred payment.

£21m includes non-current assets.

Only current assets are included for working capital which is over £16m.

REVB'S £21m for net assets includes non-current assets so it's not net current assets.

Working capital is net current assets which Wolf has at over £16m as I have too.

And for me, 90p.

Yes I know however I like to use the full figures and work it out for myself.

REVB have got their net assets as £21m however you've got them as over £16m as have I.

So sorry, the gross current liabilities including borrowings also included the Medichem deferred payment of £18.4m which shouldn't have been included - ooops

So gross current assets including cash were £117m and gross current liabilities including borrowings but excluding Medichem deferred payment of £18.4m were £99.6m

So it's £117m minus £99.6m which is £16.4m

This leaves a working capital of about £16.4m
