The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Dividend buys going in with RSI @ 80, time will tell.
Only showing down as they put through a 3.06 UT last night (higher than yesterdays daily range).
I wonder if they’ll try to put another 6.00 UT trade through today? :)
That’s not a small chunk, those two trades account for about 1% of the Mcap!
If you zoom out and look at the 3 year chart on here it’s quite telling IMO. RSI well over 80 and I’m not convinced even with the buyback we have enough good news flow to make it stick this time either.
Great news, and with the gold price $200 poz higher than 2023, must be worth another approx £3m per quarter :)
LOL Been here since 2020, not going anywhere soon.
And all for a < £10m Mcap. Feels like a few on here have missed out and are looking to buy some time with negative comments to take a position. GL to all long term holders.
I wouldn’t think that 50p would be a barrier to the buyback, they were buying back at 52p at the end of February last year.
Transcript of the negotiations after Ian spoke to the BBC and pulled a few strings to get on Dragons Den.
Dragons - (note all of them are interested) - we think that your valuation of £10 million for 1% is too high.
Ian – really
Dragons - how about £1m for 4.5% of the business.
Ian - OK
Have a good time, perhaps you can check out a venue for the £1 party whilst you are there :)
Starting to feel that Q3 will be back closer to 15k oz , than 20k/25k. Maybe that will be enough to keep to high end of guidance but was hoping for better.
I wonder if shareholders will get a free logon perk to try out the new product ;)
But still 98% of the shares are in the same hands they were in when this was at 6s. Just a pullback from an overdone drop?

Does anyone have a TA view on this? like did this fill/leave any chart gaps on this dip?
Is that 6’s now gone for good?
NT to buy and last trade above the ask, does this suggest no free float? Maybe time to move it back up.
Any news?
If the price of gold stays close to where it is now (40% gearing to q4) I’m struggling to see how this doesn’t throw out dividends equal to the current share price in a few years (like SLP is doing now from 2016 base on a 10 x + higher Mcap).
