I think that’s the mindset of the British media, Woody - always focusing on the negativity, no matter the story!
I play at local parkland but v muddy in winter. Greenore near Carlingford (County Louth) in the South when I can - superb test. Opens on Tuesdays thru spring/summer months. Have joined there too.
Would try to play winter series at Portmarnock Links and Corballis (great wee par 66) when weather (& now Covid) permits.
Seriously hoping SNG pans out so I can build an indoor simulator (somewhere) to deal with withdrawal symptoms!
And when I’m not doing that, I’m homeschooling 3 Kids and running my own business, lol!!
Would love a game myself lads.
We’re shutting down here from Boxing Day until Feb, yet I can drive 15 miles, cross the border and have unlimited Links options.
If only the schools were back, so I’d have the time. Unlikely to justify my WHS handicap for a while!
Simple google search will clarify it:
Unlike the income from a pension (apart from the 25% tax-free cash), withdrawals from an ISA do not count as taxable income.
If you complete a tax return, you do not need to declare any ISA interest, income or capital gains on it.
Stocks and Shares ISA: Withdrawing money from a Stocks and Shares ISAs is very flexible. You can sell the shares and funds that you have invested in through the Stocks and Shares ISA at any time, transferring the proceeds into your bank account.
No worries. I believe the vast majority on this board, including yourself, are here for the greater good.
Then you have the odd ballbag chipping in to stir the S H 1 T! Di
I fully appreciate the research and input of folk like PMJH, Ghia, Tony with his charts (that I don’t understand) & many others.
I’m a business man. Understand the concept of supply and demand and need for a great product to achieve sales and margin targets. The science and business case is what draws me to SNG. SNG ticks all the boxes.
I see many people saying , “I’d take £5” or “I’d take £8” a share. I don’t get it tbh. This is a major s(hit) or bust stock, with the longer term COPD backup. I invest in several Nasdaq stocks that have nowhere near the revenue potential that SNG have, yet they are valued at several $bn.
RM knows what he has and he knows which market will pay him the most - pimpin ain’t easy!!
It’s grand B4G,
it was more the generalisation in your post that those who flaunt the rules deserve to lose their Christmas, when in reality they won’t give a flying feck and it will be those trying to do their best for others, that will end up suffering.
Each family and person have different circumstances and no one on this board can attempt to gauge what they are.
Bottom line is while the NHS is held in high esteem globally (probably because it’s free!), it has been seriously underfunded by all local govts in the last 15 years or so. Unfortunately the next few months will highlight this fact but the politicians to blame will never be held to account!
With respect B4G, your comments aren’t necessarily correct.
My family and I have restrained from meeting other friends and family - made easier by the fact we live a few miles outside the town, so pretty much in the country. I haven’t seen my golfing buddies in months, barely played myself and basically been avoiding all interaction to protect our parents.
Yet because schools are still open a week before Christmas, we as a family have to isolate because some guy in a class of 20+ has tested positive for Covid! No giving of presents to the folks this Christmas.
You might think it insignificant but depriving kids of potentially the last Christmas with their grandparents because of the actions of others does not sit well with me. News footage of people out having their ‘last night of freedom’ before tier restrictions only highlights their extreme selfishness!!
Given the Clusterf*#k that Boris and his cohorts have orchestrated (never mind the *******s running N Ireland), lack of vaccines and growing number of cases hour by hour, treatments have a major part to play! £2 is very achievable. Look around you. Life ain’t pretty!
Unfortunately we had to cancel our Christmas Dinner with the folks and the kids are devastated. All because one school decided to have exams the week before Christmas while the other two our kids attended didn’t - we pulled them out early.
Today we were informed that a fella in our daughters class tested positive for Covid so now our Christmas dinner plans and the plans of 20+ other families are fubared!
Keep the schools open they say. Yet what do they know? Grandparents missing out on seeing their grandchildren at Christmas for maybe the last time? All schools should have been closed 14 days before Christmas. But the govts lack of balls has ruined it for many, many families.
If there were enough vaccines available, I could see the rollout makin a major impact. Alas, that is not the case. While I’m heavily invested here, I don’t think there will be enough supply of SNG early days to save as many as could be saved. Again, the govts fault for not supporting local companies.
And Eva, what surprises me the most is that you were well invested pre-P2 results where SP hit the heights of £2.40 in July but now on a successful P3 you’ll take an SP of £3?? That for me don’t make no sense!
This is not a £1-£5 share. It’s £1 & below or £20 &above, if P3 provides the results RM thinks it will!
And I’m with RM.
Long term plan is to sell half at £10 and other half at £28 (in before the £30 sellers). Don’t mind holding for a few years to achieve this.
A successful P3 for Covid obviously required to achieve the above in a short time frame, but fully expecting things to go a bit crazy, very quickly on the back of a successful P3, with SP jumping significantly as orders come in.
It won’t take a large % of market penetration to make this very profitable for all involved, with demand far exceeding supply. Similar to a NYCT rise but on a grander scale, as SNG have more long term, recurring revenue streams as a treatment for many respiratory illnesses.
Totally agree John.
There’s so much BS spouted by several folk on this board yet much more quality provided by others. Eva, while appearing eccentric, is still a person, with feelings, like you, me and the rest. If you don’t like someones comments or point of view, filter them - thats why it’s there. Please don’t take the cowardly stance of a keyboard warrior and throw out unnecessary insults.
I believe the majority of us on this board are here for the greater good and to be part of the success story that is Synairgen!
With patience and courage we shall all be rewarded well!!!
You can report yourself B4G, and they’ll remove - speaking from experience, lol!
Looks like the board has lost the run of itself (hand of face emoji)
LTH, stand your ground, remain as calm and patient as always!
News report on BBC re death of a child attributed to air pollution. Another lady interviewed, saying 7m people die each year of Respiratory illnesses resulting from air pollution.
The most interesting thing was the name of the person on one of the screens behind her - Stephen Holgate
Can be spelt both ways Bruce, afaik
This feels eerily similar to me to that time around May/June/July with little news flow, just a steady drop in price, the odd mini jump, then back down again, then BOOM!
Anyone else?
I strongly believe patience will be rewarded again
I’m more than happy to let this pan out in 2021. In no rush to travel to places on bucket list with the proceeds next year.
Havin the cahones to hold on to the shares until it reaches its true value, I feel, will be the biggest challenge for us all.
In the words of Simon Cowell “You’ve got three yes’s”
Best chance I have too of millionaire status. Willing to let it ride past P3 results. Likely will have sold most by £28!
I’m with you Sax.
Next few months should see a dramatic change in the SP which will provide life changing returns for many on this board.
B4G, problem is that the majority of the population think when they get the vaccine and when everyone has had it, life gets back to normal. Politicians and Celebs promoting the same spiel.
However, briefly saw some clarity on BBC news - some reporter saying that even though you have been given the vaccine, you still need to carry as in the new norm, protecting yourself from others as there is no data to suggest you cannot spread the virus nor how long the vaccine will protect you for.
Market size for SNG is still going to be bigger than what they can supply!
