Not sure what 30m looks bigger than (98.4ft?), but there's a good chance that the Germik (the formation above the Hoya and probably the 30m oil odour interval) is a tight limestone - whether it's 1 metre, 30 metres or 100metres thick won't make any difference. No mention immediately after drilling it of the oil smell whilst drilling, or the emulsion when the casing was set - seemingly unimportant at the time - and no mention ever of any stronger evidence of oil as in cuttings like over a 42 metre interval which prompted the swab test of the uppermost Hoya that produced only some water from somewhere.

The primary target was based on the expectation that an amplitude anomaly represented improved porosity, and the hope it contained oil - suggesting that the problem was that these shallow limestones weren't normally reservoir quality. No mention of any evidence of oil in the primary target, or of any pay from log interpretation which was done 7 weeks ago

Can UKOG be certain that in the testing so far none of the perforations allowed 'direct' contacted with the Germik when the evidence for that would be based on them either knowing the perforating gun was inadequate - so why waste nearly 3 weeks trying - or no flow or pressure change on firing the guns which alternatively could be due to the Germik, which prior to the drill wasn't mentioned at all, being tight.

Perhaps these quotes are from an unpublished consultation meeting so not possible to se the overall context of those quotes, but it looks like what was actually said by Lord Callanan was a generalised opinion that UKOG has chosen to present as specific support for UKOG.

Take Pinarova - testing a zone that isn't a reservoir because, of the expected reservoir zones, one produced a small amount of reservoir water on a swabbed test and the primary target which had an amplitude anomaly that looks like it was probably just improved porosity (though given they claimed it was present on the new data they should have checked it out using offset data) hasn't been mentioned since drilling through it.

You claimed they had set the 7" casing and were testing the Hoya after the 3 May TD RNS despite neither being mentioned in that RNS. In fact they were failing to test the oil odour zone and have taken 4 weeks to source a bigger perforating gun because they think the smaller gun didn't 'directly' contact the Germik.

Whilst the extent of the primary Hoya target was defined by the amplitude anomaly it isn't clear whether there's even a structural closure at the Pinarova location, UKOG didn't show any structural mapping of the Hoya lead.

So why last August were you saying on twitter (please don't try and deny it's you) UKOG should get the water injection going and get the Loxley farm out signed.

We'll see, but it could be months before the High and Supreme Court's decisions are announced, presumably nothing will happen until then with the Loxley farm out or HH-2z conversion?

As for 0.8p to 10p it's also gone from 10p to 0.06p - but not because anyone has falsely claimed that the activities since then (or even what was happening at BB) would fail or the outcomes wouldn't be as good as UKOG claimed because in fact nothing has been as successful as UKOG claimed - and more often a failure.

Whereas those that have claimed how good those outcomes would be haven't held for the results - often boasting that they sold whilst they were proclaiming how good the results would be. If they had held for success they would be nursing large losses as there haven't been any.

I suppose it depends whether you're looking for excuses why UKOG are inactive - or trying to get others to buy by inferring something's about to happen.

To hide all the previous bad predictions and advice.

G-Martin's first UKOG post was 'opening a position' when the SP was above 0.1p on 25 April - 2 hours before the price collapsed because of a RNS admitting the swabbing of a zone with oil shows returned no oil.

Believe what G-Martin hopes will happen at your peril - 3 accounts posting mostly on UKOG since July last year and so far none of the 'catalysts' have happened or they've not been successful - though Pinarova is only a 2/3 failure so far.

No doubt G-Martin will boast of purchasing UKOG at 0.09p last July (when posting as els-valexpert - or something like that) at a 52 week low which was followed by several more 52 week lows as predicted by other posters, and selling at 0.13p on 24 April (when posting as JR90) having missed selling on the September P&D which was followed by a raise and then another buying opportunity.

With zero knowledge of O&G E&P G-Martin concentrates more these days on making up stories about other posters and hoping something will happen 'soon' - yet doesn't expect anything to progress at HH or Loxley until the High and Supreme Court challenges are resolved.

I expect you'll find that like some posters here, twitter and DL they're quoting figures generated before the testing was completed and production started at HH.

There is no new CPR. UKOG currently have a total of 2.6mmbbls gross contingent resources (2C not reserves) for Kimmeridge and Portland. As new seismic is meant to be shot by PPP there should be new, more robust, mapping some time later this year. Perhaps UKOG might deign then to get a new CPR done that has to be published on Portland and the first CPR on the Kimmeridge - mght be very disappointing for the billions of barrels brigade.

To illustrate how the reserves might be significantly lower in a CPR UKOG put a value of £0.8mm NPV (3.8) (using $81 OP and an internally generated depletion curve they haven't released) on production from HH-1 suggesting production in the field's lifetime of considerably less than 1mmbbls - even at 55bopd the well would produce in 20 years, assuming no decline, about 400,000bbls - or about 185,000tonnes of CO2 - not 10million tonnes.

Finch just uses, like some posters, tweeters and DL, a big out of date number as it suits every one of them to make their claims using them. Until there's a CPR using test and production data and more robust mapping any numbers quoted beyond what HH-1 is likely to produce are just pie in the sky - and even then will require further confirmed drilling to convert contingent resources to reserves.

That UKOG chose to agree to spend more than $5mm on Turkey at about the same time that the problems with HH were becoming public either from the June 2020 interim report (HH-2z overwhelmed with water ingress) or the OGA production figures showing sharp decline only months into HH-1 production plus a sudden high water cut rather than a gradual increase. As for the Kimmeridge no activity since 2020 when they stopped testing despite HH-1 being available to produce from in a dual completion as planned, but not executed.

Those 'facts' are probably more relevant to the lack of activity by UKOG than waiting for court proceedings to unwid that UKOG don't expect to lose.

Claims of a transformational project (Basur / Resan) with similarities to fields in Kurdistan, but scant details of the adjacent producing lookalike field (E Sadak), were exposed as unrealistic when scout reports were found detailing production from E Sadak over many years, with rapid decline of wells put on stream and wells missing the target reservoir (target missed - sound familiar yet they drilled without shooting new seismic first). In the 2022 AME annual reported the field production as 250bopd from the many wells still producing of the 14 drilled, with reserves of 500,000bbls (down from 25mmbbls in the 2021 report -almost certainly a reflection of adhering to more stringent reporting guidelines). The 98% drop in remaing reserves at E Sadak almost certainly means the resources quoted for Basur / Resan were equally exaggerated

A swerve to test an appraisal of a well with oil shows but no flow on test supported by an amplitude anomaly that was more likely to do with porosity than oil has so far proved a failure.

Now waiting for a bigger perforating gun following a shambolic attempt at perforating the oil odour interval, not the primary or secondary targets, perforating that didn't 'directly' contact what wasn't even recognised as a reservoir before drilling.

FOTH lookalikey - I doubt PPP have the cash to fund the 3D without a raise (where are those flow rates for the Whistling well?), and the £4.6mm wasn't mentioned as a cap by PPP in their RNS ( maybe theey didn't want to scare the punters) - it isn't clear but I would expect that's when they start paying their way otherwise according to PPP they pay 100% up to the farm in programme being completed. Estimates of £6mm have been made for a new HH well but hopefully it will be a simple slant well to the Portland so HH-3 will hopefully cost less.

Elles / JR90 / G -Martin,

I'd keep away from mentioning who political parties have 'associations' with - or to put it another way who they are happy to take cash from.

There's also the BS about 'British Energy' pumping on a board where the company has chosen to drill 2 wells in Turkey, one failed completely the other two thirds on the way to failure. See above for the reasons for not drilling at HH, and it isn't Finch or xr.

One well drilled since then that failed, current HH production less than 60bopd, despite that bloke on twitter who keeps claiming he's seen loads of tankers so production has gone up. UKOG has never mentioned what the water cut from HH-1 is, and despite having permission to convert HH-2z to an injector seem reluctant to do anything but 'prepare' to do it when it will save according to UKOG £250,000 a year. Given the expressions of a certain win in court why not get that done at least even - maybe it's that there could be risks injecting into a fractured reservoir.

Now hoping PPP will drill a presumably risky well (otherwise why not drill it themselves and keep 49% of production) but PPP do have the option to not drill following acquiring the 3D and will still get 7% of any new production. Assuming all parties agree to the farm out PPP will also need to fund raise to pay for the work - probably even for the 3D.

Expecting any different outcome from a new well from the 2 so far drilled is unlikely. Both wells suffering water ingress from fractures either close by or actually intersected.

As,for the Kimmeridge the BB testing report is dire - have a read - I've yet to properly compare the positive spin of some of the RNS vs what was actually happening during testing but it looks like the main problem was pressure and the inability of the KLs to recharge the only decent flows being fluids returning after being injected.

With an unpublished June 2019 RPS HH Kimmeridge report that had 1.5mmbbls 2C contingent resources (they eventually used in the Annual Report 18 months later replacing the billions of bbls OIP) and the fact the Kimmeridge at HH wasn't developed following that, not even extending HH-2 through it to log it properly suggests that the RPS report and UKOG's 'findings' at BB weren't at all positive

How many years have a certain type of poster posted that other posters they claim are bashers etc. are 'getting nervous' because they post a few times when they themselves have posted continuously, often only with smears about those they disagree with, or some fantasy they have that posters are supportive of protestors - rarely with any meaningful discussion about UKOG - just vague, unjustified, hopes. I suppose being constantly wrong makes them bitter.

Yet every time so far a successful outcome is predicted by those self same posters it fails. The exceptions might be the current 2 court cases - and practically everyone is predicting that UKOG will win - I even get quoted for doing so.

Perhaps Barclay, G-Martin and unlucky should reflect on their claim that posters predicting that the activities are not likely to be as successful as UKOG claim have in almost every case been right - not because of 'hating' oil or UKOG but because the projects are much more risky than UKOG say. There will be different interpretations of the data and given the choice UKOG will only mention the most positive, and those that don't understand that, or choose not to, just repeat the company PR.

UKOG, unless an internal analysis or external report is apparently super positive or a CPR (which has to be published), will only RNS highlights without the caveats that will temper any positive conclusions.

Of course these poster's aren't interested in waiting for results, they're gambling on P&Ds based often on UKOG's exaggerated claims about the next transformational activity should all the planets align and the risks don't materialise.

So beware their constant 'bashing' of posters they disagree with - the rampers won't be hanging around to see if the Pinarova testing is good, or any other risky project - G-Martin even boasting about selling the day before the April 25 swab test failure RNS - though posted that morning, before that RNS was released, that 'I've taken a position' when the SP was around 0.1p.

Word soup - but it's the company that has been responsible for the SP dropping from 11p.

That 11p was partly because UKOG claimed that the Kimmeridge would produce huge amounts of oil and multiple RNS gave the impression that things were fine at BB.

BB was suspended in early 2018 - they have only applied to extend the permission for the site.

UKOG claimed that HH-1 Portland would produce 362bopd, forgot to mention decline and then production started in March 2020 at 'over' 300bopd - and then UKOG went silent leaving it to OGA, then NSTA, to release production details - kept silent about water production - 3 years later production averages between 50 and 60bopd from Horse Hill. A June 2019 Kimmeridge report was never released - just the calculated 2C resources of 1.5mmbbls in annual reports - but since then HH-2 wasn't deepened to log the KImmeridge, HH-1 was never sidetracked into the Kimmeridge as planned and even the PPP farm in was stated as an appraisal of the Portland. As for HH-2z - eventually UKOG admitted it produced overwhelming water not the 720 to 1080bopd anticipated.

When HH was looking dire UKOG signed up a 100% for 50% Turkish 'transformational' farm-in. But the lookalike field (E Sadak) doesn't have transformational flow rates plus wells missing targets. Kept quiet about not being awarded licences applied for, then Basur-3 missed the target, saving the (cheap) cost of shooting seismic until after the well proving a poor strategy.

Pinarova-1 - UKOG silent about the primary (amplitude anomaly) Hoya target, swab test of the upper Hoya produced only some formation water, didn't mention until TD that there was an oil odour whilst drilling the Germik, or the emulsion coming to surface whilst setting casing through the Germik. Then they didn't establish 'direct contact' with the Germik because they used 4.5" perforating guns - though not sure why they qualified it with 'direct contact'.

So since 2017 UKOG suspended BB, they tested HH-1 with release of selected flow rates from Portland and Kimmeridge - but poor production flow rates from HH-1, HH-2z now to be an injector (still waiting) and UKOG hoping PPP will drill HH-3 (for 49% of all future wells drilled production).

Turkey - Basur-3 failed, Pinarova on a last gasp hope waiting on bigger guns to test an oil odour interval that wasn't important until nothing else was worth testing properly.

Loxley has a dodgy map justified by an interpretation of the Alfold well - no takers so far though certain posters and tweeters were claiming Angus or Igas would farm in soon after it was announced.

All this plus nearly £100mm spent - most raised also hitting the SP.

So many positives since 2018 according to posters - although everything has had a poor result.

Yet they claim others have associates.

Seems the culprits are those making the accusation, just like G-Martin accusing another poster of having more than one account.

Something that it seems G-Martin got up to for 3 weeks. Just had a quick look and the last reference to a post by JR90 was 17 May. Apart from the mistake posting on UKOG on 25 April, boasting about 'taking a position' when the SP was over 0.1p, G-Martin started posting regularly on this board on 18 May.......quite a coincidence - especially as ells / JR90 and G-Martin post subjects are so similar.

Perhaps ells / JR90 / G-Martin really did think that not posting on the same board with both accounts (though that did happen on 25 April) meant it didn't matter :-

But it's having more than one account that is the permanent banning 'offence'.

Maybe UKOG has/had ample funds to pay for Pinarova - but UKOG has lots of expensive consultants / barristers etc. working on various projects and 3 weeks have now passed since the Pinarova perforating shambles was admitted. They could raise for any number of reasons - even converting HH-2z that's so eagerly waited for, and supposedly 'soon' since early 2022 according to some.

PPP only has a '18.75% net revenue interest' and 'Initial Production ("IP") rates ranging from 100-400 barrels of oil per day ("bopd")' - both quotes from PPP RNS 16/3/23). If the well goes into production at 400bopd it will take 3 years to fund the UKOG farm in - and PP has other expenses. So expect a PDQ cash raise on any life in their SP - and the farm in still needs to be agreed by all interested parties. As PPP can choose to not drill once the 3D is acquired it's quite possible no well rather than 'wells'.

I'd be surprised if the Supreme Court didn't dismiss the claim - but until recently some posters and tweeters claiming this case was stopping the farm in were saying it would happen soon (many since the RNS announcing implementing the 'pre-planned farm out in July 2022). But the decision won't be made during the hearing - could be months.

Anyway pointless posting this evening with a / the merchant of verbal diarrhea in attendance. Whatever happened to that tweeter who struck a bargain with Craig.....
