Hi Guys, no chat here for over a year and now trading at 95c on 21% discount!

I'm thinking of buying in following a cash out I got on Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust (DNE) who as part of their winding down plan bought back my investment at a 1% discount to NAV.

Align Research are they reason I'm invested here in ISA and SIPP and wife's ISA.

How many others are here due to Align?

I made money on 1 share they tipped well in 2019 that was Argo Blockchain.
However I now take anything they say with a large cellar of salt close by.

good luck with that but the de-listing will make it easier for management to do not very much and get away with it.

You dont have to make money on every share and some are best written off and avoided.

100% of my tendered shares accepted today ( basic entitlement plus excess) .

Same for me will always watch this to see if discount grows again!

fluctuation is absolutely mental here, over 400p yesterday settling at 390 odd and now 363 today with no news and a rising market with some China rally i.e. Hang Seng up 5%

JL is being paid handsomely to sell of businesses that are capable of being sold off and he's probably come to end of that. Many acquisitions will have lost their key staff and all unique selling points after CPI integration and all the re-orgs.

Those sell offs will result in lower income but slightly less debt, there is no growth imho

poorinvestor so much wrong there, the war ending would be great for lots of reasons but don't expect energy to return to pre-war levels anytime soon. All the alternative energy suppliers like Bulb & Pure Planet etc went into admin 3 or more months before 24th Feb 22 so nothing to do with illegal invasion of Ukraine.

Then Biden vs Trump - The Russians used Cambridge Analytica and other software to influence the Trump win over Hilary Clinton. Putin was supported by Trump and they are very similar imho!

Argo have screwed up big time, they had sustainable energy in cold climate ideal for computing purposes, to build a server farm in Texas in hindsight was ludicrous and will be the death of Argo.
