I'm never a fan of conspiracy theories and bulletin boards are rife with greedy MM stories (never on the way up though)

@raharh LoL yeah it was all Motley Fool bulletin boards, my wife the same bad enough losing cold hard cash without it getting cast up all the time! I logged into her ISA last week and bought her 4000 ARB at £1.20 pray for Pedro was my thought, i said to her today sell when you like, she'd holding now saying to me why would it go down. LOL

summers. I'm the same but 40+ years started off buying shares on the phone, share certs in the post, checking yesterdays prices in morning newspapers, todays prices on Teletext every hour at most I think, the internet was great real time online dealing what could go wrong, Autonomy , Baltimore Technologies (made it into FTSE100) I made a lot on paper and then lost 40K in year 2000.

I have sold some ARB as it was too much stress but holding 70,000 and wife & daughter now invested, life changing!
