RE: Not long till COIN's first NFT offering goes live11 Mar 2021 19:58
I understand NFTs use with regards ownership and authentication.
I also understand art is worth what someone is willing to pay.
ZeroHedge - Crypto artist Beeple, real name Mike Winkelmann, has sold an NFT collection of digital artwork for $69.3 million at Christie's auction house, breaking records in the digital art world.
While the winning final bid for 'EVERYDAYS: THE FIRST 5000 DAYS' was $60.3 million, the "realized price," which includes fees, totals $69.3 million, according to Christie's.
But what I am not sure about is how NFTs generate revenue for Coinsilium and me as a shareholder?
It sold for $60.3m but the realised price was $69.3m, is a large part of the difference a crypto profit?
I note Coinsilium 12% rise today surely that is related
