The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Dunk_biscuit ‘ I would think VAST is now a takeover target with a ten year development time for a new copper mine . ’
As the current mining license for Baita expires next year I very much doubt that - if the drilling suggests a large enough expansion of mine life that could eventually change
It would appear your chart doesn’t reflect the number of shares in issue - there were 21.3 billion shares in issue in April 21, this was consolidated 100 to 1, down to 213 million
VASTs mcap has broadly been in the range of £5M -£25M over the last few years, that is probably a better guide to an SP range
- until AP finally proves the business case that the mcap deserves to be higher
Firwood ‘Trying you best to make amends for your disgraceful comments on Friday there Sandy eh’
So instead of agreeing (or even saying you would donate) with Sandy’s suggestion of a fund to support the deceased’s family, you decide a making a personal attack is a more appropriate response - THAT is the behaviour of a troll
Stockportfred - in the vast majority of cases those large buys/sells that are reported late in the day have actually been placed earlier (sometimes days), so their effect has already been felt on the MM’s order books
It’s not manipulation, it’s how the market works
I know I’ll get jumped on for saying this, but if anyone genuinely doesn’t know the difference between nominee accounts and institutional investors they really shouldn’t be investing in shares until they’ve done a hell of a lot more research
If, however, they do know the difference and are trying to mislead the likes above, they should be ashamed of themselves
Terry ‘ ap is a horrible man and conned the market for years’
Maybe that’s what has made him a good CEO for VAST, finding a way to keep on raising money - it’s worked for the company as it’s still here but it’s been a total s@@t show for anyone actually trying to invest rather than trade
Asi - re the recession discussion
Personally I think the difference is those who are ‘comfortably off’ will show a smaller inflation rate, as the spending on essentials (which have shown very high rates of inflation) take up a much smaller proportion of their outgoings than people who are worse off - that also explains why your jewellery sales aren’t particularly affected at the moment (and probably the holiday market too)
Compare those on a median average income to those on a modal one - I don’t have the numbers to hand but I believe it would be sobering
Terry, the world isn’t binary, just because you don’t agree with something, doesn’t mean that you have to agree with the polar opposite
I know that concept appears to be too complicated for the social media generation
Terry ‘Remember the diamonds are a fable’
Your posts are as bad as the rampers - posting opinion as fact
Do you know the difference?
Afternoon Onaplate - hope you enjoyed your hols? Where did you go? Please don’t give me a title, there are enough self inflated gurus and geniuses for one bb, without having an appointed deity !!
Edd’Tell me that this SP is not being suppressed at our expense’
Guess what - the SP is not being surprised at your expense
Perhaps if you took off the rose-tinted glasses and considered that the off-book and late posted trades on Friday May have been sells that contributed to the SP fall on Friday it might make more sense
But of course, if you only want to believe posters that match with your own thoughts then carry on
Amazing how predictions come true re InvestingGenius (cough, cough)
- I posted on 26th June “Based on past history, the volume of your posts normally go up a lot upto 10 days before a placing till around the same time after (depends how the SP) has performed) then dwindle away, with the odd exception until the cycle repeats ”
See Stockportedd is still peddling his use of the plural re institutional investors - he’s claimed many years of invest expertise but still doesn’t understand what nominee accounts are - either that or he’s deliberately trying to mislead people
