Crazy make some very good points - in any deal you have to look at what's in it for both sides.
The way I read it is that Atlas (probably Carlingford's introducer fee comes out of this too)makes upto $1.5M for setting up the deal even if we pay back inside 6 months - at the end of day, it's their capital at risk.
They also make 5% interest.
They have upside gain, if the SP is higher than .24 and we pay back earlier
They have downside protection if we don't pay back early as they then get warrants to cover their longer risk exposure.

For them, win win, buts that's the joy of having big chunks of cash in the first place
For VAST, they actually get a chance to move two assets into production , something that very few AIM resource companies manage to do - there's loads out there that claim to have a multi£ resource, but cease to exist before they produce any revenue

Sarah, until the diamonds deal details are known for fact , then nobody actually knows, no one can predict possible free cash flow and how long it might take to get there- in the meantime, sadly, most will post to suit their own agenda. Some are more transparent than others, and some will change during the day.

The interesting thing, which I think at partially supports the bridging loan concept, is, from a brief search i cant find evidence of Atlas (or Arena) for that matter, having history similar to the likes of Bergen/Riverfort/YA/Yorkville
