@bigbite.... great points, thank you... speaking for myself I would rather buy a testing kit off an established market supplier for the genre rather than some new unknown company, and gdr may well be that existing market supplier... who knows..

and anyone who gets a license knows they are protected by a patent that can be enforced for any breeches outside.... that gets the big boys get interested... so they dont waste a load of money developing and marketing products just to get ripped off... a patent protects..and the yanks sue in phone numbers...

then the mm's maybe tamping down the buys... could be short on stock i dunno.... and looking at the share reg on the gdr site, last updated 22/4/20, with circa 34-m shares in issue, add to that the new 8.7 m new placing the other day, that I didnt get any on!!... brings it upto 44m approx. plus 1.2-m for broker fees takes it to 45-m approx.

for an aim co thats f all... most are in the billions.

they could have raised at much more imo. but maybe they wanted the placing away fast and a big discount was the inducer so they could concentrate on the projects, also doing road shows and the like when everyones locked down is prob impossible.

with any luck gdr will get its plans through and move onto the main market where its a bit more stable.. cant believe i said that actually...given its about as stable as a rocking horse!

with such a small float in the market, im not not entirely surprised that buys are only in the small amounts for retail punters.

I had problems yesterday buying, thought it was just me/ii, but seeing your post by only allowing small buys being put through makes me think the market size is restricted, i only bought a further 600 quids worth, but had to split the order, and it wasnt in auction at the fifteen min points after the hour.

Imo....We need as many testing kits as we can make as quickly as possible from anyone whose competently producing them or near production in the uk.

I only hope the red tapers at the civil service still smarting from their recent turkish buying spree finally do the right thing.

Good points by Scart and Bigbench..although i didnt hear tonights briefing... the point of quality testing devices is a must have, given the uk’s ability to keep getting the dros ...amazed no qc checks are being made...whose buying this in the gov..whats the criteria...just get the cheapest, quickest?

I guess, imo, any co that cracks the immediate testing will get bought out right there and then under uk gov scrutiny to ensure if its a uk invention the uk can still be the first customer.

Actually, this is a surprisingly smart article..given the kind of tech involved, it could 8n essence be possible for onsite testing to be done outside night clubs and bars, cinemas, etc all pre entry tests with results back fast...if it worked like that successfully would unlock about 106k boozers etc..in the uk alone, and get the hospitality industry back up.

Range bound trading right now, people have to be fast to make a few pence, and L2 certainly wont help with +2/-2% movements on a gap of half a percent.

Keeping the spread that tight just shows me that mm's dont want to see a great deal of in/out trades, and are nervous themselves that anything could land/happen leaving them struggling to meet orders either way.

Most shorters will have stops, they set them tight as well, so not much money to be made, however... stops can sometimes not be triggered, especially when markets are moving at high speed.

Long as the spread remains tight, it keeps the riff raff out - dont want their sorts round here!

I dont see how the price of gas or oil has any relevance here. Given the recent comments made by other posters about cpr’s etc... it wouldnt matter if the north american winter was minus 60 or 110... how do we value the prices in relation to the oip, and the npv correlation to the sp?
