How far could the BMN share price rise?27 Nov 2019 10:28
How high could the BMN share price rise? Well clearly no one has a definitive answer to that.
My own target remains at 75p to £1.50.
If the company continues to deliver on its expansion plans at Vametco and Vanchem, and brings Mokopane on stream in relatively short time, the increasing revenues from those activities alone should significantly impact on the value of the company.
However BMN appears to be on the cusp of delivering revenue from the Bushveld Energy business, and that could increase quite rapidly over the next year or so. Who knows what impact that may have on the sp as the company begins to produce electrolyte and delivers on its plans to first supply and then build VRFBs and also announces rental contracts, etc. And of course we may see returns from the investments with our partner companies (Avalon, RedT, Enerox, etc).
As these activities ramp up I would expect to see a significant shift upwards in the sp even at the current V price, and perhaps aided by JSE listing. Any dividend announcement next year (not certain at present) would also be a positive factor.
As this new market (energy storage) for vanadium begins to impact on the V demand supply relationship one can't rule out a significant rise in V price, perhaps towards the $40 + kgV level suggested by Fortune. In that event I believe we will see an even greater shift in the sp and in these circumstances my 75p to £1.50 target may begin to look very conservative.
As always the above is just my opinion. DYOR.
