Well well well. Seems that was a good call. Late trade of 5 million at 14.26. Share climbed rapidly from about 14.30 onwards.

9.7 to sell NT to buy at close.

Shorters (GSA Capital Partners?) buying back perhaps. Quite a rapid reversal of today’s drop plus some. Just my opinion.

Bigal I have not discounted ANY way of strengthening the balance sheet !!!

I merely challenged what appeared to be an assumption that this will be a fundraise. It might be but there are numerous ways to achieve this. Noneof us, no matter how clever we think we are, know what the future V price will be, how much production costs can be reduced, how much other costs can be cut, what the future Dollar Rand rate will be, etc etc. There are way too many variables for anyone to say there will or won’t be a fundraise. It remains an option, but BMN are already pursuing other routes so we will just have to wait to see how it pans out.

And by the way a small issue, if required, that in the end helps the company expand production should be received by the market.

Invest.well I am happy to engage with you in response to my posts. However kindly do me one favour ... read my posts carefully before responding.

I am well aware that any AIM company may do a fundraise and I most certainly did NOT rule that out. I said that the CEO did not commit to this as a way of improving the balance sheet and I then gave other examples, to which I should add an asset sale (eg Lemur).

My exact quote:

Mogwhy this is a topic you keep raising. As was stated last time, there are many ways to improve the balance sheet. Certainly one of those options is through a fundraise but let’s be clear ... Fortune did not state that this was the intention.

None of us know what the future V price will be but most commentators think it will be upwards. The Chinese cap on steel production has temporarily affected the V price but remember they have not capped usage, and other important markets (USA, India, Europe) are set to use infrastructure projects as a post Covid economic boost.

Meantime production is up and stable, and costs for H2 should be significantly lower than H1. They have also amended their plans and diverted $18 million from PFA to kiln 3 refurbishment at Vanchem and are undergoing cost reduction programme throughout group.

As you can see jumping to conclusion that fundraise is inevitable is just a bit premature. However if that is what you think then I would expect you to have sold up already and wait for cheaper buy in.

Exactly. So has it been confirmed or not? The reason I need verification in order to believe this is that I would be very surprised if the CEO of one part of a group disclosed such confidential info about the internal workings of the group and in particular concerning the group CEO.

If that didn’t flash up a few warning bells… ? You may wish to take this at face value. I am not so trusting.

LB21 I don’t know where that comment came from, and it is on the face of it quite a serious comment.

Therefore I want its source verified in case not genuine. Not too much to ask for is it?

UKSteve take note. This short is definitely NOT insignificant. This stock has a low daily turnover. A few million shares is all it takes, perhaps recycled, and look at the damage.

Having said that it must eventually come to an end and the price action could then be very interesting.

Fair enough that V prices could continue to drop. However they are just as likely to turn around and rise again.

The Dollar Rand rate looks likely to continue moving to reduce costs and production looks stable and above target at Vametco. I suggest that things are not as gloomy as you seem to be presenting.

Jelly I didn’t ask you to use my name in your aggressive posts. Kindly state your opinions and leave others alone.

However as you mentioned me l will say this to you:

1. You are responsible for your own investments. Stop trying to blame others.
2. Grow a pair. Yes V price has reversed but as others have stated it can reverse and climb very quickly. The spot market is relatively small so volatile prices are not surprising. Amazing how some panic at the slightest opportunity. Perhaps investing is not for you.
3. Why don’t you target those at GSA Capital Partners who have apparently been shorting this share and possibly damaging your investment? They are your real enemy.
4. On a personal note I have not been posting much recently because of the poor standard of discussion here, exemplified by yours and FDs posts.
5. Specifically I am not reading or posting much this week as I am recovering from major cancer radiation treatment last week. The last thing I need right now is to be the victim of personal attacks by bb warriors like yourself. Show some respect and allow me to recover in peace please. This treatment may potentially have life changing consequences for me so quite frankly I am not interested in your opinions about me or my support for BMN.

That’s why I believe what you posted earlier was not correct.

DD there is some logic to your answer.

However that ‘sweet spot’ price encourages the development of the energy storage industry. So in that sense you are wrong. As we have seen before if V price is too high then that restricts the VRFB industry. That sweet spot therefore makes supplying steel industry very profitable but also provides a price environment that enables VRFB manufacturers etc to flourish.

For BMN longterm shareholders we want both sides of the business to do well.
