I agree. AIM largely sentiment driven. Ukog happened because the whole U.K. Gusher thing caught the imagination of the public and people who wouldn't normally invest on AIM bought in. If Colter gets mainstream coverage then that could easily happen again.

Me too try, I'm a patient man these days. I spent 2 years trying to trade on AIM, chasing rainbows and lost about £150k. I've been in here for 18 months with the remainder of my PF. I've bought between .65 and .8. My average is just over 0.7. I've not made any money but, critically and most importantly for me, I haven't lost money either. Preservation of capital is now very important and RBD offers the downside protection I need with the very real probability of making back my losses and much more if these next few drills come off. Even if the SP doesn't respond I won't be selling. I'm in for monetisation. The SP will eventually reflect value. I learned a lot of lessons losing £150k but hopefully the expensive lessons will be worth it in the end. AIM is a tortoise and hare race. This tortoise will win a very big prize in the end. GLA and DYOR, research gives security and helps us sleep soundly at night. :)

Barnet, City Financial are out. Any schoolboy level bit of research can verify this. CFs list of assets are available online if you look past the first page on google. RBD are no longer listed anywhere. They are out. There hasn't been a TR1 for the simple reason that there are no CF employees to submit it. Anyway, who cares, not I. Barnet you might be waiting a while for a holdings RNS. Who's going to put it in? The directors of CF have scarpered with £4Mill of their clients money. The administrators are in. The ex employees are probably at home looking for another job. Tell me which of CFs previous employees gives enough fooks to go into the office for zero financial reward and submit your holdings RNS. It isn't even a legal necessity and even if it were, I doubt anybody would care.

Really? Another drill partner, ADL have just issued 222,222,222 shares, £1Million worth. Most of these placees will be dumping at 20% as placees do, so that's £1.2Million of churn. When I raised it recently with one of the ADL usual suspect rampers he said it was nothing and would clear in a few hours. LOL.

I'm like a kid opening the advent calendar every day currently. What a great time to be invested here. Every day takes us closer to drill results from the sidetrack into Colter North which could contain a further 24 million barrels, having already discovered an estimated 15 million barrels in Colter South. Monroe Swell spud is imminent, that drill significantly derisked by success on the workovers and production at VG3 and VG4. Cali investment already looking like a great deal and we're not even half way thro drilling the assets yet. Drill pipe reportedly on site at Rathlin for the west Newton drill, high cos and massive upside. Still got Parta in Romania, the jewel in the crown IMO, massive upside and low risk as it's an existing discovery. Great time to be in here. Looking forward to lots of celebrations this year. I don't care who's selling, who's trading or who's buying, I'm researched, loaded up with tens of millions and sat here holding for this to play out into monetisation. Good luck all and DYOR. Of course it will be IPO'd but that revelation made by late-to-the-party ChrisCabbage is nothing new. RBD currently have 32% of Corallian which will rise at their next share issue when RBD will receive shares equivalent to their £750k funding of this sidetrack, issued at a 30% discount. So they could end up with say 36% of Corallian. The RBD strategy is to quickly monetize successful assets. An IPO would be the most effective way of achieving this. ChrisCabbage knows no more than the rest of us, he's just now joining the dots that we all joined up long ago. He's a clown.

Anybody who thinks getting oil out of the ground is easy and uncomplicated obviously knows very little about it. Probably best not to pretend to be an expert.

It would be a good strategy to hold Monroe Swell until after Colter North results are in. That way it will springboard off positive results at Colter north or buoy the sp back up in the case of any disappointment. However, seeing as the timing of the drill will be down to Gaelic and their operator on site, I doubt that is the strategy. They will go ahead when conditions are most favorable for a successful outcome.

The Colter discovery has made City AM. They have also tweeted about it. This is just the start IMO, it will probably make the Mail and Telegraph in next few days and no doubt the swampies at the BBC will be covering it from an environmental point of view trying to put a negative spin on it but there's no such thing as bad publicity. Makes more sense to hold on to assets until the POO recovers. I don't want to see good assets sold into this stagnant market and they won't be. The whole business model is built on assets being available at bargain basement prices. It's a buyers market. Sellers market comes later. I agree with Fyoz, this is a slow burner and will show massive 10x profits in a few years when assets are sold off but it won't be this year I don't think but I hold. Speculators will come after the Wick success and drive the SP up.

West Newton will happen some time in the next few months, H1 undoubtedly but results will not be in March. Throwing out these unrealistic false timescales is counterproductive. We have enough happening in reality to get excited about.

True. Lots of unjustified whining. The last RNS that mentioned VG4 on 28/1 clearly said "VG4 will now be prepared for production" yet some gimps are still whining about it. I've made use of the filter button this morning. Had enough of moaning, that's what granny is for.
