I think RBD are going to increase their holding in Rathlin. I think that RNS was to reiterate that when they bought Rathlin it was AFTER Connaught had done the CPR and WNA1 was already a discovery. They will want to head off any accusations of insider trading and buying more Rathlin because they know more than other competitive bidders. They want to inform the market that it was always a discovery and nothing underhand is going on. As i said: clearing the decks to take more of Rathlin.

Couldn’t care less about what’s going on at UJO. I’m not in it. Don’t buy manipulated pump n dumps. The usual suspects are working in packs in UJO already. They are currently pumping it with fantasy chatter of a BP takeover, until they sell out then they will start gobbing off about a placing before flow tests. Rinse n repeat. Happy in RBD. Not touching UJO. I just read their ******ed rubbish for entertainment.

Are Rathlin currently in the Dragons Den negotiating with Sachin and Stephen? Very strong but here. Expect news of RBD increasing their interest in Rathlin.

Difficult to pull anything remotely useful from the UJO board with the endless volume of traders drivel over there but this looks interesting: One poster mooted the theory that this mornings RNS could be laying the administrative groundwork for some other future more important RNS, possibly an acquisition of more of Rathlin etc. interesting theory. RBD bought more of Corallian on subsequent occasion to increase their interest so will they do it here? Are Rathlin looking for funding to exploit the license and RBD laying groundwork to announce they have bought more of Rathlin?Would not surprise me at all. Looks increasingly likely.

Clarification that WNA2 is an appraisal of a previous discovery made by Connaught with WNA1. The regulator has obviously instructed RBD to clarify as it might not have been obvious from the first RNS. Either way, it’s massive and we own 24% of it. Brilliant. Who cares about the semantics of it, not I, not shareholders, just salty sour grapes largely. DYOR GLA.

I see Sachin wisely made no mention of oil on radio 4 at this stage. Easier to defend the green credentials of gas until the fuss dies down. Don’t want hundreds of swampies all over it lol

Heard the radio 4 interview this morning but I don’t class that appetizer as BBC already happened. I’m taking BBC National TV news. And probably C4 news who will want to spin it with green propoganda to encourage protest but who cares. All publicity is good.

Big money and more institutional money will come in here this week. Expecting a steady SP rise now and possibly the odd TR 1 as they Hoover up stock.

Cheers Franco and good luck to all. RBD and the WN strike will undoubtedly be national news this week and could well be in the financial pages of the mail and telegraph too. Traders out now with profit and gone. Investors in for the long term and the stock primed for a fresh wave of bigger investors with the vision to see what we have here. Expecting publicity and TR1s in the next few weeks in the run up to the Parta spud. No point derisking or selling any for me. What stock would I buy that is a better bet than RBD now or better value with this news and these assets. RBD the Best Buy in the market today and only going higher in the next few weeks. GLA.

this afternoon. No doubt about it and no doubt what the more profitable long term investment will be. RBD own 37% of the operator, Rathlin. This field is massive. RBD have 25% of this drill via ownership of the operator UJO have 16% of this dril. But the operator is also the license owner so RBD own 37% of the entire license. It isn’t just about this drill. Look at the big picture. Also, California production update due now this week and the spud of Parta in August. Who would bet against Parta now, not me. Stephen said Parta is the “Jewel in the Crown” and is a higher CoS than West Newton. Bring it on. DYOR GLA.
