Correction: It’s early for brain functions. UJO and Humber are not shareholders in Rathlin of course, only farmees in WN. The point remains, either Rathlin as a package company or just WN could likely be sold for £1Billion when proved up and RBDs share of that would be circa £250-£300Million. That’s a 5-6 bagger. I see this being monetized within 6 months, RBD SP will rerate to 6p plus and we’ll be off to other projects. Production not on the agenda for RBD or UJO. Simple as that.

RBD will multibag when this field is proved to flow in commercial quantities with a CPR NPV of £1Billion plus and rumors begin of talks to sell the field or RBD, UJO and Humber get their heads together as majority shareholders in Rathlin and sell the entire company including West Newton. It’s onshore and close to existing processing and export facilities on The Humber. RBD will not be having battles over production. The field will be sold for at least $10-16/barrel in ground. It’s currently estimated at 100 million barrels. Once proven recoverable and sold that’s £300Mlion to RBD. That’s a five bagger MCap from here. GLA

Chimey I disagree, lazy retail market still not arrived. Not enough volatility and 60% intraday rise to draw their attention. Retail PIs are not researched on RBD yet. They’ll arrive after another 300% of so from here, after WN and Parta come in, 2 or 3 months yet until most dumbos start looking at this. ROFL.

Last ADX update was dated 19th August and said they expected to intersect the first gas zone “in 4 days”. That was Monday 19th in Australia though so Sunday night in Romania. I’m thinking ADX might issue an unscheduled update at 1am Friday morning on ASX open if we hit a decent gas payzone. RBD have not bothered to relay the last 2 drilling updates via RNS as both were basically “steady as she goes” but if ADX do issue a gas strike update early Friday morning then RBD will have to follow suit at 7am on Friday morning and RNS that price sensitive information. The question is: Will ADX want to update the market immediately or will they keep it under their hats for a few more days until the drilling update on Monday? No bank holiday in Romania or Australia remember. Will we be hearing about gas on Thurs night/Fri morning or Sunday night via ASX? If I were out of this I’d be taking a position latest by Thursday close in case we get a bumper gas strike RNS from Australia overnight GLA DYOR.

It’s very possible that on Monday we could have an RNS on Parta with gas shows, albeit a day early and an RNS on West Newton that the casing has been perfed, completion piping installed and pressure tested and a flow test of the liquid hydrocarbons has begun. It’s a bit of a hopeful dream scenario but not outside the realms of possibility and if that does happen then the brakes will be well and truly off this and we could find ourselves flying over 1.8p and hurtling towards 2p! Oh what a Monday of Mondays that could be. Fingers crossed ?? GLA.

Don’t need £100 POO. Trigger point for major investment back into the industry is a sustained period of Brent at $80+ to inspire confidence. We in the industry know that. You’re not industry then. If you don’t think POO is going up then you’re in the wrong place sunshine. The fundamental belief that this bargain market will end shortly is one of the foundations of the RBD strategy.

It’s still a buyers market. I’d like to see POO a lot higher before we start selling assets into the same bargain hunters cash starved market place that we used to obtain them in the first place. The top of the asset disposal curve will occur when POO is higher, the big boys start chucking money around again and the bargains dry up. That will be the time to start getting out. Not yet.

Interesting that the full ADX RNS says that they will update the market with a drill progress report every Monday. Could be getting a weekly RNS indicating gas shows every Monday morning then. Lovely Jubbly.

Good point Bob, Pru M&G would have been put fully in the picture regarding Cali before investing more of their clients money just a few weeks ago at basically no discount to open market SP.
There may be an update on Cali but the AGM on Tuesday if VG4 gas tie in is completed and if all 4 wells have expelled their drilling fluid and cleaned up sufficiently to provide a stable, reliable flow rate that can be confidently transmitted to the market. If not, then testing will continue and at the AGM shareholders will be informed that work is ongoing and testing continues. Ce’st La Vie. I’m happy to hold. Constructing plant on site can take months. Wells can take months to clean up. What’s new. It’s how we roll in oilers. A positive Cali RNS on Monday or Tuesday would be nice but don’t bet the farm on it. I don’t think they’ll be rushed into putting out premature figures and risk trashing the SP just to have something else to talk about at the AGM. Lots more going on. Cali on the back burner as a work in progress. No update yet in my opinion but we’ll see.

The big drop on Block Energy yesterday is a result of prematurely putting out less than optimum production figures while the well is still cleaning up and pumping out drilling fluid and water. I’m happy to wait for the wells to clean up, stabilize and provide the market with some good SP boosting numbers. Premature wet fish updates have a negative effect. Greed, impatience and stupidity tend to be the reasons why so many people lose money in these markets.

MMs will take large amounts of stock in any live online trade. They’ll take £80k worth of stock at 0.7 and are offering over the advertised midprice at 0.8 for £40k worth. Smart money is buying big here on this dip.

We all have an opinion on Cali and this has been done to death now really. Anybody who wants an update needs to email Camarco and exert pressure there. Personally, I’m happy to wait as I’d rather have a fully bullish RNS informing of 4 wells in production, plus gas production. If anything negatively price sensitive had occurred then we would have had an RNS to that effect. I would rather wait until all equipment to produce from 4 wells, plus gas is commissioned and stable production flow rates have been achieved. Happy to hold, all looking very positive here for the remainder of 2019.

Talking about the inevitability of both RBD and UJO drifting back to their respective placing prices. It always happens during a long flow test. The MMs need to make a market so with no news due for a few months while awaiting flow test results they will drift the SP down daily to shake out weak holders. Traders seldom want to hold through flow testing. They don’t like being locked in. With no more significant news due it is inevitable that UJO will drift back down towards 0.17. It just will. It’s inevitable.

In answer Luckyman2, I always expected both UJO and RBD to drift down to our respective placing prices. RBD have fit the buffers at 1.1. What was UJO placing price? 0.17 wasn’t it, still a way to go there then. 0.17 is next UJO support. I expect it to drift down to there during the WN EWT. What was the verdict at the Wressle planning meeting yesterday? Does somebody know something we don’t?
