Basically anybody selling ODX while we are this close to News is likely to end up static in whatever new punt they buy as they sit frustrated watching ODX fly up over £1.20 without them in it.
DYOR.
Ha ha. The screaming impatient loons on here are the same muppets who repeatedly change lanes in a motorway traffic jam and sit banging the steering wheel in stressed anger as the lane they left goes flying past them as they come to a halt. Lol.
Only three things any share holder can do to change their situation dt.
Those things are Hold, Sell and move on or buy more.
Moaning is not one of the three things that leads to a solution.
Let’s hope so Simon.
I haven’t heard the news reports but was assuming the announcement would be the rollout of the Roche testing for frontline workers. After all, they can easily have IV blood drawn in hospital, unlike the rest of us.
If Sky News have definitely said it’s “New” then that’s a game changer and it could be anything.
Interesting.
I’m sure the market won’t like that update. It’s basically a £37.5Million setback in the Companies cost cutting strategy.
Probably back to sub 20p today and I’ll average down.
Recovery still on but it will be a longer road than most anticipated in this economic climate.
Saliva based antigen tests are going to be short lived and there’s a lot of reasons for that.
It’s all going to be about blood tests going forward.
Medical research comment everywhere about The unreliability and dangers involved in any saliva based testing.
It’s all going to be about blood. Blood testing at home for antibodies is what’s required long term, long after new infections have died out and people know they don’t have a current infection and are not sick, people will still want and need antibody testing.
Curative are already cleaning up in the USA with their mouth swab antigen Test. It’s a crowded market.
Another gob swab antigen Test is nothing new. That’s why UK gov haven’t gone with AVCT. They went with Novacyt. AVCT are going to have to concentrate on USA aren’t they. Have a read about curative...
“The Curative test differs from its typical rival, in which a medic has to insert a three-inch swab up the nose to collect virus particles from sinuses. Curative instead requires a person simply to cough three times, swab the inside of the mouth, drop the sample into a tube and then seal it in a bag.
The test, which last month received emergency authorisation by the FDA, has been proven in trials to be as accurate as the more invasive approach, at about 90%. It can be done swiftly and does not require the assistance of time-pressed healthcare professionals wearing precious personal protective equipment.”

I’d rather you took your AVCT discussion over to that board but if you insist on discussing it here then carry on.
This tweet from “UK Diagnostics” was largely missed but basically gives insight into the level of Government control and indicates that participants are operating under strict non disclosure guidelines concerning what they can say on a public forum like twitter.
“Worth noting that those manufacturing #tests for our use can't respond to mis-infornation or represent themselves given the sensitivity of guidelines they must adhere to. So anyone questioning them may well consider an email or letter rather than tweeting”

I wouldn’t get too wrapped up in this ease of use survey.
The survey is more to do with the entire kit ie the finger pierce, the cassette stick housing, ease of transferring sample to the well on the cassette etc.
The “Design Freeze” does not appertain to the cassette but it is the lateral flow assay strip inside which will be frozen once it has achieved the high accuracy and specificity bar.
The difficulty has been in achieving an Elisa Test level of performance in an LFIA.
Once that’s achieved it will be frozen and remain unaffected by how easily people can use the rest of the kit to prick their finger or get their blood in the sample well.
Just took another £5k at 53.5p on the strength of all this twittering and tweeting.
Buy the rumour.
Sounds like Abingdon are gearing up for an RTC announcement....

This second wave in China could spook the markets and lead to another market crash by Friday.
Quality Biotechs with news due should be safe.
I’d look at hedging into cash on everything else. Covids and cash are king.
Rapid diagnostics bring testing away from the laboratory and closer to the patient.
The many benefits are obvious:
?Rapid results
?Home testing or #poct
?Quick, easy-to-use protocols
?Connected readers deliver instant data for analysis

Have been busy little birdies twittering and tweeting away all morning about POC tests, connected apps, lateral flow tests, all sorts. Numerous tweets in the last few hours.
They sound like they want to shout something out but can’t. Yet.
MTPH is not an opportunity.
MTPH is a pump n dump exit scam so that warrant holders can dump warrants at 34p. For that reason it will tank if it ever reaches that level.
When was the last time MTPH made a profit? It crashed for a reason, not because of Covid, because it’s a crock of shyte.
Beware of shyster warrant holders promoting no hope crocks of shyte!!
*Sell out well before the warrants get dumped at 34p!
MTPH is a total crock. The company is currently for sale and losing money.
The crock is being pumped because there are a whole load of executable warrants at 34p. The warrant holders are trying to lure in investors with promises of a return to 90p share price so they can dump the warrants and exit.
The current MTPH promotion is a pump and dump exit scam.
If you take a punt then sell out well. Score the warrants get dumped at 34p and don’t get left holding the baby.
As for me, I’m buying your ODX shares that you sold this morning at 50p to go chase that crock of shyte.
We’ll talk in June.
GLA.
Just quietly selling out of all other recovering holds and buying the dips every morning.
£300Mill Mcap coming in short order.
GLA.
The Abbott Test is another lab test where participating labs need to install the Abbott machinery and train staff to use it.
Not a competitor for the RTC rapid 10 minute home POC Test.
Just more noise and FUD.
Let’s list the tests “being developed” by Oxford University....
. 1.) RTC rapid home POC Test
2.)
3.)
4.)
5)
Errrrrr.....that’ll be just the one then
