Important point imo isn't the "noise" of who knew what when or so and so's share sales (whether HC's or Gregs) but the fact the deal happened.

No they shouldn't you're just being picky now. If they got the news on the 18th they'd log the RNS as all co's do (hence the excitement over the 1 share trades) for it to come out the next day.

greg if they received the news from Boots on the 18th then that means they penned and logged the RNS straight away for it to come out on the 19th at which point HC was obviously clear to sell so don't see your point.
Are you saying they should have faxed the news to the RNS distributors so it could have been rushed out on the 18th as I'm not sure thats possible mate.

I'd say on the back of that they def are planning to drill still.
I emailed voicing concern over the XX drills 20th Aug and didn't get a reply til after the interims when they apologized for the tardy response stating they couldn't give out market sensitive info so had to wait to reply.-ie they'd already decided to cancel XX.
The fact you've had such a positive reply says to me they really do still have every intention of drilling so guess now its down to decent weather so they can?

They're pretty much my thoughts too. Don't blame them for the duster but after the unexpected placing investors/traders were comforted by the XX drills as a fallback for the sp should S.L be a duster.
Taking that way was a bad hit esp as they announced it after most peeps were already in and committed.
Hope for holders sake WH does go ahead this year.

Obviously the machinery will freeze up above ground but so will the drilling mud etc. Everything has to be protected from the cold and actually heated so though not sure at what point under freezing its not worth the effort Winter drilling does sounds a right pain.
