The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
i am still going, happy to report back if i speak to PM.
i am planning to go.
ok great, maybe see you there.
Terry,
i have signed up to go but SEE were apparently due to attend last year but did go not in the end.
still i spoke to Gervais Williams about SEE, so was worth it.
firstly can i say that i really appreciate the regular researchers on this BB....s2020, lewbo, ET, Redini, JC, Terry, etc.
You have made this BB invaluable over the last few years (6-7 years for me!)
SEE is a high risk tech play & if it does not work out i won’t blame the BoD, or KK, or the posters on this BB.
i take responsibility for all my investments. there are 2-4 regular moaners who love to talk down the company they invested in.
please can we all not respond to their daily self-loathing & focus on the reality of the situation. yes good & bad, but fact & research based & not allow the chuckle brothers to bring down what is truly great about this community.
here are a few of my takeouts from the day.
Very positive overall.
Agree that Tim & Colin were excellent in different ways . I think PM has brought a clear strategic focus, much needed level of commerciality as well operational best practices.
i like the cut of his jib!
Right man, right time for a company that could about to become a jam today rather jam tomorrow tech outfit.
The whole event excluded quiet determination & confidence.
S2020,
I will be there, though I wish they had given us more notice that it was morning/lunch thing rather evening like last time. Agree that is positive that they are given us decent amount of their time . Lets hope we have some decent news drop between now and then.
XLM is the main feature in this month's SCSW and it is a very positive and encouraging article. I am expecting a positive response from the market on Monday.
I attended the AGM and whilst there are issues with facebook, the BOD seemed pretty confident in the future. KB was impressive and I have heard many good things about her from people I trust.
Sorry if this has been posted already but I just seen on LinkedIn our latest new UK employee:

Beginning Not Bringing!
Forrester Research recently asked 54 Automotive Industry experts when they thought fully autonomous cars will be mass market. The overwhelming conclusion was "at least a decade" before they are 1) affordable 2) hack proof and 3) safe. The penny is clearly beginning to drop in the automotive industry, but when will it drop in the investment world? Hopefully soon! :)

I was there and was impressed with OW at the event. First time I have seen him in the flesh.
He spoke with intelligence & expertise but also honesty about the challenges & the need for the business to refocus. The share buy backs will continue & in fact they want to spend more. Nice big dividend to come soon too. The US will be a huge opportunity in the next 5 years, & XLM is getting ready for that now.
Overall I am pretty optimistic & reassured about the company's future.

Hey TT
I am definitely going, signed up last week. After today's bombshell, I am even more determined to go and find out what is going on. I would like to see the share buy backs continue on a daily basis and also for Ory W to buy more shares at this level to show his long term commitment to seeing us through this challenging time.

Red,
Haha! Good one!
Seriously I wish we had Viktor or Alex Roy doing our PR.
SP would be a lot higher but I guess SEE are playing the long game - Stealth Global Dominance or as I like to call it the SGD strategy.
A little bit of coverage on this week's new OEM win:

PR coverage has a poor really but I guess SEE are trying to stay under the Auto industry radar until global dominance is in place.
Well Terry, you have convinced me, its a big deal and very exciting. Great research.
