I had a response from SS. Essentially he said that the firm have not provided an update because they were hoping to release news of funding as oppose to an update of where they are. By that I was reassured and took it to mean that they are very close to funding. Should hopefully be any day now.

Very strange to sell today because if MR is correct in his timescales, we should have China testing results back by the end of the month, I.e. tomorrow. We are also surely very close to funding from the DFC. Strong buy, and potential 15 bagger in my view.

I have increase my stake since 2019 to get me to around 1% across all wrappers. Struggled to buy in any significant quantity without significantly moving the price though so it’s taken time. I think we are now at a turning point. Previously news has not had the impact it should have on the SP and we can only surmise why. But we are at the point now where we can expect material news that will have a significant impact. If we do get the DFC funding, which MR seemed to indicate is nailed on, then I can’t see how we can remain below double figures so wise. Not sure why it’s taking so long (maybe linked to another piece of material news), but surely has to be this week or next, either way, we know news on the Chinese testing will be out before the end of the month, along with potentially an update on off take agreement discussions

However, when you compare Evolution Energy to Blencowe, we have a far superior project (only 2% explored) although we have not as yet finalised the DFS (Evolution Energy have):

This follows outstanding Pre-Feasibility Study results (NPV8 US$482M: IRR8 49%) as presented to the market in July 2022, which have prompted the Company to move quickly on to this next stage of project development.  The DFS is the last step in terms of major studies prior to the board making a decision to mine.

Don’t think we’ll get the chance to see 18 months as OC is too big a resource for BRES to take through to production in my opinion. Think we are likely to be bought out early and cheaply (talking £100-200m) although it will still be multiples of the current SP.

Agree. This should be sitting around the 20p mark at the moment. On any good news, we could be multiples of that. Can easily see £1 by the end of the year

It has been in the past both upwards and downwards although not always so can’t for certain say news is coming, but if we get towards 6p today then my money would be on news being imminent which it should be anyway. I asked for an update a couple of days ago and BRES are normally good at updating quickly. They haven’t this time which suggests to me that we are imminent re: DFS, maybe also in testing etc. I get the feeling that the DFS RNS will be linked to another which will refer to a stake in the company or an offtake agreement. Just my speculation about that last bit, but it wouldn’t surprise me at all because it would be mutually beneficial.

Agree. Those suggesting that this tech won’t be commercialised are taking rubbish. If technological breakthroughs didn’t happen then we would still be communicating by pen and paper and watching Betamax tapes. A huge company will buy out POLX soon, we’ll before anyone here is able to hundred bag, which would otherwise be the prize.

Tech like this gets adopted. It always does for a number of reasons but the main ones are that it is light years ahead of the existing tech, and the second reason is greed/money. Its too big a market for all involved.

The issue is just how long it takes to get adopted, not if. I agree with the above that this makes a perfect fit for an existing MRI manufacturer or someone with deep connections and deep pockets that can commercially make this work quickly. The issue is whether there is a fund raise coming, that’s the only real unknown in the short term. The BoD are quiet so we don’t know, my view is that there isn’t anything immediate. That said, its intriguing that this material information is now in the public arena and it hasn’t been RNS'd. That leads me to think that they are either scrambling to write a quick RNS, or that there is something else happening behind the scenes that is about to come out and the RNS is being held back. Hopefully we should have hit the floor at 40p, which is quite frankly a ludicrous price given the substantial opportunity available to the firm. Don’t often get chances like this one. Strong buy for me.

I emailed IR again today and said I think their prior response was highly disappointing. They came back with another short response but did indicate that they may update the market soon. I may be looking into that through a hopeful lense although that was my initial thought from what they said.

FWIW I think management credibility is at stake here and I do believe they are working behind the scenes (from an operational perspective), that’s not my issue here.

I can also tolerate the ups and downs of the market too but it’s the comms that frustrate me and from what I’ve seen recently and historically, the BoD have been poor at communicating. That has to change otherwise they may find that they are taken over and out of a job. Of course the technical guys probably wouldn’t be but the senior managers who can be replaced could soon be moved on and replaced by those who can get the job done from an acquirer.

I believe the above because there hasn’t been a single director since 11 October 2021 when three directors bought at 53p and 47p / higher than where we are now. There have also been no sells too, so the directors last purchase are underwater. No Director buys is fine during lock in periods, which was fine when seeking FDA approval. But now, if there is no new news, I would expect buying to support the SP.

I reckon we will hear something in the next couple of weeks (and it won’t be another block listing return!!).

Basically no one knows. It rose sharply on FDA approval and then has come back down as the rise didnt stick. We do need an update, but that aside, this is an amzaing product / solution which is light years ahead of the alternative. There is no way that this solution will not be adopted by hospitals, its just a case of when. Companies like Bracko dont get to over a billion dollars by investing in dogs. They will be the buyers here and it wouldnt surprise me if they are weighing it up now giventhe fall in SP. If management dont want this taken out on the cheap, then they need to arrest the fall. I would say a minimum buyout proce is 100p and the lower the sp goes, the more palatable that becomes for holders.

Well I, as well as everyone else including companies like Bracko must be sitting on a large loss at the moment. If they really have intentions of buying POLX at some point, you would expect that they would be hoovering up stock at these lower prices. They could buy up to 30% before needing to inform the market about making a bid I believe. Would absolutely make sense.

Yes that would definately explain the lack of news, particularly if it was around a sale of the company. I really hope they get bought out quick sharp as if there is nothing going on in the background, then they want shooting for letting the SP drip away when they had such a good PR story i.e. FDA approval.

The initial application to the FDA was due to take 10 months but that was extended an additional 2 months (to make 12 months) to incorporate the HW application. I dont think we were made aware of the date we would receive this (could be wrong) but if its similar to the application then this should be about 2 months. I assume that this is a foregone conclusion but would be good to get anything at all from the company at this point in time.

I would accept £1 at this rate. Senior management need to stop the rot by putting out an update. They cannot continue the way they were prior to GDA approval and need to keep investors informed.
