Agree it is baffling that some of the Board were buying at £9.50 in the last few weeks - and continuing a buyback at those levels - if they already knew what was coming. Hard to believe that at 2pm last Wednesday, as Rachel Reeves sat down, this was over £10, albeit for 5 minutes - it has been a very steep descent since then! Listening to the call this morning doesn't fill me with confidence - they seem not in the slightest contrite.

looks like my attempt to "catch the falling knife" has resulted in severed fingers. as a minimum, the cfo needs to be gone, and the chair of the audit committee too. the ceo needs to decide if he is a ceo or a chairman - he should never be both - the company now needs to show a commitment to good governance and competence in financial controls. the current cfo no longer has the credibility having presided over this ****show

Thanks Litteaston - I did read the following on another platform which gave me the shivers:

"Why did Gregg (CEO & Chair) sell all his shares held by his investment vehicle Baker, so soon after they published the black hole? I see that as a red flag."

I haven't seen any info on that elsewhere - but if true, it would be a cause for concern - not to mention highly questionable behaviour if he knew of bad news coming down the track. For the latter reason alone, I would imagine it is nonsense

Hope you are right - but as someone else has said, this is a binary punt from here! The trading update needs to leave no doubt that this is a one-off, there is no contagion in the rest of the business, and that the matter is closed. Anything less than that will see it tan further. It might help to see the management put their hands in their pockets and showed confidence in the company

Squeaky bum time coming into results this week? Thought the spike last Wednesday to over £10 after the budget might have been a good indicator of future trajectory for this - but drop over last three days was significant - lots of nervous shareholders bailing out ahead of results?

this rubbish belongs in the deepest depths of x - i come here for rational chat about a share price, not unhinged, semi-literate dribblings from anonymous ******s. is there a block function on here?
