Surely anyone already invested in Boohoo knows the story inside out now and isn’t going to sell based on the weekends papers from the woke press? You’d be mad to hold all through the recent madness only to sell just before earnings!

Darlomagic that is exactly right but try explaining that to the woke brigade who only read the headline of an article and seem to think boohoo were underpaying staff.

Thanks Rishi, some really good points for me to take on board.

Rishi I think I prefer holding long as I traded it today, selling and re-buying and it worked out that I made an extra £200 but it could’ve easily cost me that instead. If you’re holding when do you prefer to take profits? Bit by bit as it rises or have you got a target to sell the lot at some point?

Sometimes holding goes against all human nature and is hard to do. I’ve found it really difficult at times but luckily I earn an ok living outside of the stock market so it’s not the end of the world if I take a loss. If its your only source of income or savings then it’s a different story. I think this is the case with Chris which he mentioned a few times.

Yeah I’m excited. I’m currently up £1,500 on apple from last week but I can see that being wiped out in the short term at least by boohoo haha. Can see it climbing back up next week though!

Saw a few girls on Twitter talking about boohoo and how cute their dresses are compared to Asos which apparently look old fashioned now. Checked their profiles and they were from Indianapolis! Didn’t realise either company had much exposure in the US but looks like British fast fashion is gonna take over. Doubt this is priced in!
