Just a word of advice for what its worth. Take everything on here with a large pinch of salt, and make your own choices. There are a few that offer sage advice, and a lot more that are full of BS. Day trading is just gambling, and most fail badly unless they have very large reserves. My advice is buy what you know and understand, don't use funds you may need in the next 5 years, and ideally look to buy shares you intend to hold for 10 years or longer. Get as much as you can within an ISA wrapper and BED the rest. Transfer the BED shares as and when with an eye to cap gains tax.

This is true, however I think you will find the UK still had control over people entering this country, and many of those are from outside the EU, and of course before BREXIT there were those who left to live within the EU.

I believe that the vaccine has already been rolled out, and at this moment in time we are still abiding by EU rules. So again I ask what will change?

I honestly don't understand why we have left the EU, and I have yet to hear a rational explanation of how it will be of any benefit to me, my family or indeed any individual I know personally.
I have had people say;
'we have our freedom back', I ask well what can you now do that you were prevented from doing before?
'we are free from the EU dictating our laws and controlling us', again I ask what can you now do that you were prevented from doing before, and which law in particular do you objet to?
'we have our sovereignty back', I ask how does that benefit you persnally, how exactly will that impact your daily life?
BREXIT is done, I cant't view it as anything other than a terrible mistake with little upside, but done it is and there is no going back so lets just get on with it. In a strange sort of way I'm quite glad as those who were so keen on BREXIT will eventually see thetruth of what they have achieved.
Or probably more likely they will blame something else rather than acception responsibility for their own actions.
In any case for the love of god lets just try and make the best of a bad job.

I believe it will drop tomorrow. Below 30p, maybe, down to 23p, I think that a bit of a stretch.
I'm out of LLOY at present, and can see some downside in a banking stock with focus biased to the internal UK market, so the current risk means its just one for me to watch.
However there are limits, if it does hit sub 25p levels in the next few weeks, at that price I'd just buy and quite literally hold forever as I see very little downside.

Well I dumped 83440 LLOY at 38.56266, made a very very slight profit, but lost out by getting greedy and not selling yeaterday.
I like LLOY but today feels more like a gamble than investing.

I hope so, but I suspect its going to keep <35p until some positive news breaks.

Trading is a bit unsettled by Brexit talks and media coverage of overnight developments. Deal apparently unlikly today.

38.39 at the moment.

Its opened a bit low. But going up .

This game of political chicken being played is not without its risks.
I admit a deal is the most sensible option, however 'There is many a slip twixt the cup and the lip'.

I'm not greedy. If I can make a couple of hundred here and there, I'm happy
