A Genuine Question - No Agenda24 Jan 2021 07:48
I have bought into the idea of ARGO and currently hold £28740 of shares which for me is a reasonablesum of money. I have watched the various presentations etc. and view BTC as something with true growth potential. It appears difficult to value ARB stock in the same way as conventional sector stocks.
However I cannot get my head around why it has a negative ESP, ROE, ROCE, ROA, operating margin, and pre-tax profit. All of which taken together would normally be cause for concern. These figures are however a little over 12 months old and may explain the disparities with current share values.
By its nature however ARB is intrinsically linked to BTC, and some serious financial minds, Citibank, JP Morgan to name only two are predicting that BTC coul reach $146000 to $300000 in 2021.
If these financial analysts are correct that could mean a 140% to 300% increase in the ARB SP.
I am therefor confident in the future of ARB, but my questions remain over the fundamentals.
I appologise if my take on this is naieve and appreciate any insights you may share.
