Watts,
Let's not forget that WN is a MONSTER. On AIM, chipping away at the SP is not uncommon, especially where we have rogue commentators passing their view as given facts.
Show me a TR1 of any major seller's ? Clearly the partners concerned did not think it appropriate to make any comments on WN, good or bad, subsequent to the BDM post. I actually think his post was a cry for help, as it was obvious to me it was a shout out to the partners to provide more information to better inform his associates, but why would they when the tests are ongoing and A2 to follow.
I have increased on weakness mainly because of the information provided on WN to date and the progress made in making this Asset "Disposal Ready". Let's not forget that our main aim is to get this asset advanced enough to interest the "Industry"
Then we have the involvement of "Strategic Investors" lumping £500k into the RBD Victory Loan. My own view on these Investors, is that they most probably have a wider remit than just the Victory Project.
Excellent, funny update from Alan regarding his points on Cali, which I agree with.
"Following an active five well drilling campaign in 2018-2019, last year the focus switched to maintaining cash generative production throughout the oil price downturn. With oil prices significantly improved, attention can once again turn to opportunities to grow the business in California. "
The Cali Asset is now held as a self funding Asset, even to the point of additional drill activity. With a Realised price per barrel of $38.4 and Cash Operating cost of $18.5 per barrel, the low oil price environment of last year still made us a Net Profit of $12 per barrel after Royalty payments. With Brent currently trading the $70-$77 range, and my expectation is it will test $120 in the near term as we unlock from COVID, even at $70 Net Profit per barrel is +$40 (3 times 2020).
The recent price action is unlucky for those trading on leveraged margin but for the true LTH's it is a gift.
Don't post much on here these days, as the level of valued content is dire and far to much BB response to the unwashed who I have in the Green bin.
All the best
Jack'
