I bought 80p but only £150 worth - starting to look back and ponder that decision!

Hi There are no broker ratings yet on the site - does anyone have links please?

I hope so - expecting this to do a run this week and next - surely towards the 120p it reached a few months ago. (That would certainly help my portfolio as AHT in the US is going to be a wreck this week....)

I think whereas there is some really good comments on here - overall i think this post serves well to evidence why you don't come online after a few beers and a big football game! :)

In my experience this share has never been quick to move. Also they are XD with dividend paid tomorrow - which I suggest is why there aren't many big trades lately? Be interesting to see what this does long term. I was introduced to this stock in 2019 as a high income stock - unfortunately with Carillon that year then COVID it hasn't played out. I will keep this share in my pension and ISA for another 6 months to see the dividend payments - I may well dilute for a few months though if there is no movement into next month.

Fun - completely agree - I have a few US stocks that have tanked recently but investors are still moving in during that time - to me that says long term is good. Just wondered if there was still a shorter term play on this - logic says it's not done until cinemas open and there are more films confirmed....

Hey Bonkers - thanks, I just thought they were a little out of date - the JP Morgan one seems to be telling a completely different story to the board and Marketbeat etc quoting 200-230 in Analysts ratings?

Does anyone know any new Broker ratings? The ones on here are mainly old ones? (links as well if you have them please?)

My logic is 5th - we need to be careful etc etc - but from early July we can start to, traffic light systems etc

I also think the April Vaccine slow down on first doses is more likely the banking of the J&J single dose vaccine - I am no expert in vaccine field but i am a planning / programme management professional and if I was offered the same outcome for half the effort I'd jump at it.... 22m vaccinations @ average 600k per day, 6 days a week is only 22/3.6m = 6 weeks - starting early May brings you to mid June.....

Additionally, there is strong evidence coming out of the US that cruises will commence in May / June time there. Also, I would suggest that, political views aside every bad news in this sector previously has happened at a weekend - where there has been a dip the Friday beforehand - this is the opposite of what's happened here.....

Boris saying a statement on 5th April and detail on 12th suggests yes - albeit there will undoubtedly be the usual caveats, traffic lights etc etc....

That's my gut feel. That said, I didn't put all my money where my mouth is as I diluted about 70% yesterday and this morning.... (although that was because I was at my ST and made the most of Biden's Green Boost in the US yesterday....)

I've been toying with whether to hold into the weekend or not.

Think there are 3 things that are swaying me to hold:
1. This article (not Han****) but the comments from Paul Charles
2. The Novavax deal
3. The fact all through this year the Government have offered no support to the travel industry other than furlough etc.

In particular, the "governments dont give out bad news twice" really makes sense....

There were 2 large Buys yesterday after hours. One of 58m - target prices lately between 2.20 and 2.50 - with this trade above the lower. What are peoples thoughts on target price now? Looking pre pandemic its still got a long way to go? I am kind of thinking strong solid companies will return to 70-80% pre pandemic prices - I'm interested to hear about any other views?
