Yup... getting a bit irritated. SP never looks likely to hold up - so I may as well benefit from that I guess.
Swing traded a bit last couple of days and gained 5% and 8%. Or rather now holding about 6% more shares for the same investment.... so at least something.
I'm sure SP will kick up quite a way before end of October... but yup, time to make money elsewhere then come back into TILS I guess if you keep a close eye on SP.

Lucky that reading charts for this stock is about as useful as reading Thomas the Tank Engine then I guess....

I don't see how Mercedes selling their F1 team would affect AML share price in the slightest. What Toto does, could do.

I've been expecting Mercedes to sell the F1 team all year.... I'm just a little surprised IF it's Ineos. These are just rumours at this point.
It's what Wolff does is the interesting thing here for sure. And Lewis - he hasn't signed a contract for next year yet! It would be a huge shock/coup if Lewis left the Brackley team though.

£20m for headline sponsorship/naming rights of a podium contending F1 team is ridiculously cheap for the exposure!
It costs near that if I want my name on a Mercedes wing mirror.

And don't underestimate the huge effect of Aston car owners/fanatics being schmoozed by F1 VIPness and events around F1. McLaren and Ferrari maximise this so so well. Even Lambo manage it with their strong Pirelli relationship.

AML is not F1.... but the two are already inextricably linked, and that is only going to increase massively.
Then there's the effect a very happy Daimler could have with Vettel finally driving their engine which they have been trying to do for a long time. Don't underestimate what this 'could' mean for the Mercedes/Aston Martin relationship with Seb as their poster boy.
Then there's the experiential/PR/goodwill/hospitality side with Aston car buyers being schmoozed with F1. The bit which I'm especially excited by as I've worked closely with Force India/Racing point over several years in this regard. Looking forward to getting stuck in!

Because he's mates with Stroll who's consortium owns Racing Point F1 and AML, who are both heavily in bed with Mercedes like he is. It can't be a coincidence that Wolff invested in AML straight after sharing a flight back from Australia with Stroll back in March. And is exactly the reason I jumped in here too.

SOMETHING is lining up with Stroll/Wolff/Cowell/AMG/AML/DAI/Racing Point...Mazepin maybe involved too. There are too many stars aligned for it to be coincidence. And I'll be here until we find out what ;o)

Yup was thinking this. I think the initial tech sell off may snowball.... it's well over due IMO.
But many will look for somewhere else to invest yes.

Demand being above supply is vital on several levels yup.
For cost efficiency of manufacture, for perceived desirability, for dealers to maintain maximum pricing and profits, and to maintain high resale values - which comes back around to increasing desirability and investment value for punters.
