Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties, discusses offtake milestones and catalysts to boost FY24. Watch the video here.
Ratcliffewriter – Instead of wasting your time here on a share where the SP has INCREASED over the last 6 months better look over your shoulder. While you’re away, your own beloved Scancell SP has TUMBLED from c15p to c12p over the same period.
Perhaps spend some time promoting your own investment on your own forum rather than trying to berate investors on theirs. Saying that, I understand the grass is a lot greener here.
In your own words (28/11/23): “All the 'lifestyle company' '5p looming' and other doom mongering vermin can basically go and boil their heads.”
This morning’s RNS is certainly a welcome hors d’oeuvre as we await our main course. It is further evidence of 3rd party belief in the Val portfolio of compounds.
Only recently, our main shareholder, Dr Adam Hargreaves posted on Twitter:
“Bar the cost of the listing and the lab, there are 5 projects here with a perceived "value" of about 30 pence. Some are very early and some are ready to go. You only need one, and each only needs a 20% chance of success”
The whistle has been sounded and the Valirx Express is about to leave the station. The discounted first-class seats have long since been snapped up but there is still some standing room if you are quick about it.
Don’t be left on the station with the bags in your hand and those sad, red eyes.
Apparently, if I had invested £1000 in Microsoft in 1989 it would now equate to £3.23m. Pretty peeved about that as I was on the verge…..
Conversely, If I had invested £10,000,000 in 4D in 2020 it would be worth……nothing!
Two different companies, maybe. But so is Valirx. Companies evolve, as do the products they can offer and the market circumstances. Forget historical issues. We have been reborn. If you happen to have found yourself here. Relax, take a seat, in Valirx, all is well.
This is a low-cap company with several potential game-changers, a state-of-the-art lab, complete with access to our own biobank of patient derived cells, giving far greater control over costs. In-house testing means we are no longer dependent on external bio-lab availability and inevitable delays.
We also have developed an amazing portfolio of compounds, any of which could see the current market cap dwarfed. Over the last 2 years we have developed relationships and collaborations with universities both in the UK and abroad. Most importantly, we are manned by an experienced team of scientists researching the bane of modern society, cancer.
Our main shareholder is a highly-qualified and experienced scientist, a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists who is extremely optimistic about the company’s projects and business potential. Formerly of AstraZeneca, now a successful entrepreneur in his own right, Dr Adam Hargreaves is a visiting Professor at the University of Surrey, where he lectures in pharmaceutical toxicology.
If you look at the FTSE leaderboard on any given day you will see companies increasing 40%+ and often far more as they start a gradual climb in SP following a positive RNS. Other than M&A activity, most are usually low caps. With a market cap of around £10m, Val is a prime candidate.
Except for a very few sad people (step forward), most people only post on a forum because they have a belief in that company’s potential and understandably want to promote it. A couple of others have exactly the same confidence in the company but would prefer a lower buy-in so de-ramp the share. So basically, there are 3 categories of posters: those holding, those who want in lower, and those who have nothing better to do with their time.
Whenever my confidence wanes, I only have to look at the number of posts in Val and I am reassured. We are almost there: Porky, Share4, Ratcliffewriter ……and all the other spending their valuable time here have given me a lift. Thank you, though maybe forget the budget tickets, you need to get on board now……the train is pulling away…..hurry…. quick……oh dear, never mind. I believe there may be another similar opportunity due in 5-6 years.
Ratcliffewriter - I’ve stayed off here in line with the recent ‘truce’ but still follow the various viewpoints.
I always find it amusing when posters go to great lengths to berate a share they, supposedly, have no financial interest in. If you are short at least have the guts to admit your position. The alternative is you are trying to ‘save’ naive newcomers. Do me a favour!
Personally, I have a life and only post in shares in which I have a holding, my time is too valuable to waste scouring random forums to try and stir a response. I admit I did have a quick look at your posting history and can see Scancell is proving a bit of a disappointment. Maybe, not quite the scientist you thought? Or are you hoping to divert funds to try and claw back losses elsewhere?
Those who have actually invested here believe, rightly or wrongly, that they will make a, hopefully significant, return on their investment.
If you genuinely have no stake here then why not let this play out. Not long to wait either way. However, if the probable outcome is likely to be quite costly to you……..
Disappointing results. It's obvious why the shorts have increased recently. Nevertheless, likely to present an opportunity to pick up some more at bargain basement prices.
For me, as long as punters are not looking for a quick buck, this company still presents an excellent long-term investment.
Agreed. SABER coming along nicely. Commercialisation beckons.
A couple of further points. Many shares are in sticky hands with 70% held by institutions or insiders so it will move quickly with positive news. Directors leading by example with skin in the game, including recent buys.
An £8.42m market cap company with £5m cash in the bank!
What’s not to like?
@ Uncanny – I very much doubt it. He’ll be in a straightjacket, staring into the corner, rocking backwards and forwards and mumbling something about “what happened to the placing?”
Once upon a time there were two animals living in a farmyard, a pig, let’s call him Perky; and a rat, we’ll call him Cliff. They met up and discovered they had a lot in common. They had imaginary conversations about how they would put the world to rights if they had a chance.
The farm was owned by a good scientist, Suedill who always saw good in everything and did her best to keep all the animals well-fed and happy. Both Porky and Cliff resented this. She must have an ulterior motive. They decided on a cunning plan to turn all the other animals in the farmyard against Suedill by telling fibs and pretending Suedill was evil and not nice.
The other animals were far too clever to fall for Perky and Cliff’s trick and could see right through it. They told Suedill of the evil plan and she was very disappointed, given how caring she had been to all the creatures in her care. However, with no other option she took the only option left.
And they all lived happily ever after, except for Perky and Cliff who were cast out and left to reminisce on the error of their ways
I'm afraid you are wasting your time PI.
Porky is the naughty little boy who didn't get his way so will kick, spit and scream trying to draw attention to himself. He has nightmares, hence the playing on his computer in the middle of the night. He has no friends so has invented an alter-ego, Share4, for company.
Probably better to ignore his tantrums.
Oh, it's such fun to hear a pig squealing! Haha.
Porky is known to have developed an extreme allergy to profit. His trading has become legendary with many experienced stock-market traders following his investments and making massive gains shorting the companies in question: 4D, NCYT, HE1, SNT, INSP, etc. Mr Warren Buffet is alleged to have declared “This boy’s got talent. He can pick a donkey every-time. His consistency is unbelievable.”
At a recent conference, when asked if he had any investment tips, Porky replied “Yes. I have a sure-fire failure. There is a low cap company, Valirx, championed by a PhD professor who, aside from being a successful entrepreneur with 20 years’ experience, is the largest shareholder; Val has a portfolio of cancer-related compounds at various stages of development, its own laboratory with a large biobank of patient derived cells, an experienced scientific team and is currently near an all-time low SP.” At this point, sadly Porky suffered minor injuries as the stampeding hoard of reporters and attendees rushed to invest in the said company.
Sadly, our piglet friend is often misunderstood. His posts are sometimes wrongly seen in a negative light. However, Porky has already clarified his stance in this respect….
"I just can't abide negativity, can't stand it at any level. I can kind of get it if its to put off investors to try and get a cheaper price, i don't agree with the practice, but i get it." (POSTED BY PORKY IN VALIRX – 30/10/21)
Well, no-one can say Nick doesn’t have a wicked sense of humour. There is more chance of Peppa being appointed than her husband.
Suzy is confident and unconcerned. Porky is desperate and confused.
Another superb post Ironmighty. Spot on.
“Desperate times call for desperate measures” and for the de-ramping club the time is now.
I have just read the post below by Wudacudashuda on ADVFN and thought he makes some valid points (tho' perhaps with a sprinkling of BS).
I have been investing for years, some shares have done well, some not. However, I have never come across any company with posters so desperate for the company to fail as this one. Posters who have no financial interest (unless shorting?) but are posting at all times of the night to try and put off potential investors.
Everything points to Val being the next multi-bagger and from a risk/reward perspective well worth a speculative buy. Granted, there is an element of risk - avoid the stock market if you want 'safe' investment. I am looking at excitement. this morning I logged on to find a bid for Gama had brought me a nice short-term bonus. A few of weeks ago Oxford Bio did the biz. Believe me, I have shares in a lot of companies and had more than my fair share of losers too. That's the AIM. Some you win, some you lose. BUT when you win, you can win BIG.
I see Valirx as such an opportunity. You can climb aboard the Val roller-coaster at a ridiculously low SP and strap in for the ride of your life or you put your dosh into a 'safe' savings account with minimal risk.
Putrid can press the red button at anytime. Live life as it's meant to be lived!
just realised, “share4andporky” is an anagram of “a pair of ********s”.
Apex today behind an offer for KCT via Kelvin (UK) Bidco Ltd. Could shortly see them make their move here.
Porky – Accrol Group, supplier of loo rolls and tissues. Up nearly 3% today. Looks like you’re already stocking up on both!
P.S. Still blocked.
Every time PI or PM post to give updates, afterwards I get these annoying green bands on my screen .Going to complain strongly to LSE. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Must be a problem with LSE. I keep getting green bands across the screen!
🤣🤣
Rather than listen to Dr Adam H, an eminent scientist, alternatively you could take advice from our resident moron, a Professor Porky who spends his days posting utter garbage on this forum.
This deranged poster, made a fortune in Valirx, before losing it all in a fly-by-night company (4D) which went to the wall. To be fair, not content with 4D, he has lost money in a host of other company’s too: NCYT, HE1, SNT, INSP, for example.
Prior to his acrimonious divorce from the company, Professor Porky spent hours posting the merits of Valirx before a strop saw him move to the dark side. In fact, he was the No.1 ramper during that period with gems such as:
“The valuation here is like a coiled spring, you really can’t hold it down much longer before we absolutely explode to new heights.”
“It's a Red Hot Buy and one of the best risk reward investments on the AIM in my considered”
……“And it’s not IF VAL come's good, it’s WHEN”
“ Valirx are trying to make a difference and I just champion that at every level.”
……”the CEO here is just amazing, new team, new ethos and really cares about the shareholders.”
Reading his multi daily rants nowadays, could it be our porcine friend is trying to drive down the SP to his advantage? No, that’s against his ethics, for in his own words:
"I just can't abide negativity, can't stand it at any level. I can kind of get it if it’s to put off investors to try and get a cheaper price, I don't agree with the practice, but I get it." (POSTED BY PORKY IN VALIRX – 30/10/21)
So, there you have it. The posts and opinions of Dr Adam H, a respected scientist ……or the ramblings of a confused and demented porker.
As always, DYOR. As an investor in Valirx, I obviously have an interest and expectation of an SP rise, but don’t be fooled by Professor Porky (or his other aliases). Despite his denial, he certainly has an agenda, posting over 100 times in the last month on a share he is not even invested in! It’s time to take your positions.
By the way Porky, by all means respond with your usual crap…..all I will see is a green line across my screen.
Enjoy your day!
