Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Bwana, it wont be too long for an overall leap. In theory we should be seeing monthly good news regarding financing and development. Jeremy said in the interview they expect to announce Tranche B in early October and then serious buy in not long after.
D220 I was waiting for something to pop too but I would say no news is good news right now.
Everyone else, please ignore chartists, no one who actually invests for a living uses them. I worked in IB across desks and products for 14 years and no one uses chart trends.
Tornadotony - honestly I think this is a long time coming correction. State economic aid is winding down without the pandemic really being over. The priced in fiscal support just got a significant downgrade. Mid term, AIM stocks will feel a higher volatility but with companies like HZM there is much notional value not priced so it is a little irrelevant.
As I posted before, I would prefer they spent more on PR to give the SP a prop and therefore a 'buffer' for us longer term shareholders to weather such volatility but the truth is we are never a bad week away from 3p again.
Wasa, I've been here a few years now and I would never consider anyone on the board a marketer. The company has very, very little PR work outside the occasional interview, fiscal report or tweet and I don' t think will change ever.
No doubt a good PR campaign would pump the price up to a higher holding level given low vol but they very much seem happy to let the project milestones be the PR. The risk is if the financing package they eventually secure is no favourable to existing shareholders we will remain waiting for the growth well into production (and we carry all the risk all the way).
I would like to see some PR spend to get retail interest and increasing volume up, if only to give us shareholders a little cushion for inevitable set backs along the way.
Unfortunately BlueBudgie is an example as to why you do not 'YOLO' or overweight in one position or overextend yourself financially. You should not be caught short, acting or stressing about short term movements of positions (unexpected personal changes aside) as then you are no really investing but gambling.
HZM has a strong future ahead but short term will remain a rollercoaster. Mid-term will definitely see stability but we will not see huge gains until Nickel is tight and we are producing. I would expect a return on anything under 10p mid term.
