“Would love to know who polygon actually are. Especially as J P Morgan is also mentioned in the TR1
Are they just a hedge fund, or acting on behalf of a big pharma company, or single rich investor, or bill gates. Hoping we will find out one day.“
Appears very good, but not statistically significant. In the world of science isn’t that everything. It mentions further phase 3 trials are warranted. I just don’t know from here how we do that. Surely we are relying on JV/sponsorship/TO.
Great to have these results finally though! It’s welcomed good news.
“ While prudently managing costs, we are actively pursuing and refining multiple clinical approaches including company- and investigator-sponsored studies and possibly platform studies (as and when appropriate), to confirm the most expeditious clinical development path for SNG001 in patients hospitalised due to a severe viral lung infection including SARS-CoV-2, influenza, RSV, adenovirus, parainfluenza and rhinoviruses.”
“ Synairgen has adequate cash resources, reaching into Q4 2023, to enable it to determine and pursue its strategic pathway for SNG001, including if necessary the exploration of all options to provide the necessary funds to allow it to continue its clinical development programme”
So we are good for now.
Once the Activ 2 results are in we need trials and a clear road to commercialisation.
So we have something no other drug offers…
The truth is, until this drug is commercialised, we won’t see the returns we are hoping for on our investment. However, this is certainly a very, very, positive step. Looking forward to hearing more about this, and it reminds me why I invested here in the first place.
A broad spectrum antiviral AND the only drug thus far to reduce long covid symptoms.
Those two things are certainly in desperate need.
I was certain of an RNS. Activ 2 data, STRIVE information, sprinter P3 deep dive data, long covid data.
What I didn’t expect was the 2 RNS’s that we got. Mondays was a little more understandable. But data from the COPD trial, did anyone expect that?! I didn’t know that was something we were waiting for…
Seems to have come a bit out of nowhere but fits in nicely with RM’s talk? Is that just coincidence?
I have questions though
1) this new trial, universal, 1000 patients enrolled, are we targeting a certain cohort? It’s for viral respiratory infections, not limited to covid too right.
2) it’s an observational study, what does that mean exactly?
3) what do Janssen get out of this?
RM tweeting
RNS likely on Monday
Data for P3 released likely too
US trials set to be announced soon

The need for the drug as big as ever.
Its good to be back
Money, time, friendships, family, health
If you could pick to loose one it would be money. Big losses are horrible, I’ve been through it. But know that there is so much more to life and you’re worth more than a stupid share price. Hope you’re ok.
Kurzgesgat is a YouTube channel which explains many scientific problems in great detail, in an easy to understand way. I’ve been watching their videos for years and think they are fantastic.
Their latest video is about the rabies virus, at 2:50, they start to talk about interferon virus. I couldn’t believe it. It seems interferons are becoming increasingly talked about in the scientific world and seeing them discussed on a relatively main stream video like this I think shows the future of interferon medicine is getting closer.
Obviously it’s about the rabies virus and not COVID in this video but still thought it was great to see them mentioned.

2.6 million views so far, all publicity is good publicity!
Axe, things can be done in haste and still take time. The pyramids, the moon landings, things don't always happen overnight even if we want them to. In fact, most things of importance don't.
I saw Doc’s message on a previous thread with 42 upvotes, good to see there are a fair few of us still around. Sometimes it feels lonely investing in Synairgen, glad to know there are still a few of us out there that see it’s potential.
Really looking forward to seeing updates from the AGM, can’t thank those enough putting in the work behind the scenes!
