Think we got to 1815 in September?...Brent hit 87 dollars at that time. Then came Q3 results and we fell back pretty quickly to the low 1600's!! Question is, can we expect a repeat after Q4?
We're on a Bull run right now.. question is how long it will last. Results day is always the worry for me. I'm just hoping by then we're up around £3.70/75.
We all know these will be impressive. Q3 were but perhaps tempered because they were announced in the middle of Cop26? The SP dropped quite sharply on results day!! Are we in for another disappointing reaction to Q4 results?
Happyinvester100. The pre pandemic world was a very different place! The world isn't going to get back to anywhere near normality in the next 12 months. Maybe 2 or 3 years! That is why I believe caution is needed in predicting where the SP is going in the short term. IMO £5 is a few years away.
£4 is a sensible target for this year. £5 is pie in the sky! I'd be delighted with £3.90-£4.10 range and the 4% increase in the dividend. My advice to you is to have realistic targets.. don't listen to some of the fantasists on here!!
Stockready1... Your predictions are not helpful. You were on here posting that we would be guaranteed £5 before Christmas!!.. Just stop the nonsense, it doesn't show you in a good light.
Except for the SP!!.. Joke at 330p. Very disappointed to be at this level with the oil price so high! Don't know what it will take to get this closer to £4!!!?
... I'm hoping/expecting a good lift in the SP tomorrow. Omicron so far proving to be much milder than Delta, could this be the pandemic burning itself out?
