So, in your opinion there's no chance of a big drop in the SP on results day?
As far as the OP is concerned, I thought it was higher at approx 87 dollars?
Excuse me if I'm doubting your expert advice and knowledge, but you were on here an awful lot in November time and assuring us that the SP would be £5 at Christmas!? ... just saying.

Look what happened then!
What's changed?

We've had a really good run with the SP. I'm concerned about the possibility of a big fall on results day even if, as expected the results are good. Look at MKS today, excellent results... SP falls 7%!!
It seems that we hardly ever experience a good lift in the SP on results day.. what would it take?...A good increase in the dividend? Well, we know that's not going to happen.
Think I'll be very tempted to sell the day before results and buy back after the inevitable pullback on results day.
Thoughts?

4.50 would be amazing.
Forget 5.50!!

..is looking hard to breach today.
But very happy to see 382-3.
400 will be a real milestone if we can get there before Q4 results.
