I have an awful feeling, despite mega Q3 results the SP will fall... The Oilies are just very unloved right now.

Both Companies seem unloved if you ask me!?...
The Big Oilies are just out of fashion.

Question for you Stockready1...
If the measured research you've done suggesting the SP should hit £5 in eight weeks time then you must see a big jump in the SP after Shells results on Thursday and BP's next week!...
Could you let us know your predictions for both these crucial events?

According to stockready1 it's not a best guess it's a guarantee!..£5+ by Christmas.

A 10% ish rise from where we are today.
I'd be over the moon if that happens.
£5 is pie in the sky.

Predictions on what the SP might be on results day.
I think the good profits might have already been priced in.. it's what Shell decides to do with all that cash that counts.
I'm going for a closing price on Thursday @ 1831.

With Brent at 86 dollars it's disappointing not to see the SP much higher.

I'm optimistic about BP in the medium/longer term.
But to keep saying we're going to see £5+ THIS YEAR! is bonkers. It will never happen.

Will have an impact on the SP of Shell and BP?...
Why?... what's going to come out that we're not already aware of?

Ignore all the stupid people trying to ramp this up!!...
Invest your money in a good FTSE 100 Company who aren't in danger of going bust!! There's no reason to play Russia roulette with your money and putting into a share like Cine!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing!
I'm happy to stick with the FTSE 100 stocks only.
IMO BP and Shell still have a lot of upside to them.
Cine for me has been a temptation but glad I resisted.

You came out of Tesla and RR for Cine?????...

People are in cloud cookoo land if they think Shell won't be a leading light into renewable energy..but oil is far from dead and will be a vital commodity for decades!!

Returns to shareholders...
Buy backs don't seem to make much difference to the SP that's for sure!...
I'd take a special dividend over that any day!
