RE: PM Rauk in Australia9 Feb 2023 10:47
So far the few additional licenses picked up in the mass flop 2 1/2 year bid
round, NONE have signed their psc agreements, was to be done by July 2022
the last report put out by ANPM, extended to be done by February 2023.
Well here we are and still no reported sign off's, all presumed to be waiting on
what transpires with Sunrise, its start of 2022 JV statement by both sides the
Sunrise psc to be signed by the end of 2022.
It still has not been and neither have the new licenses. For the floodgates to open
for the Timor Maritime region, Timor need to give some clarity, for those sitting on
the fence, you will not be shafted like those in the past, well they did that recently.
Timor signed up to the International Arbitration New York scheme. So companies
have legal recourse, if Timor, do not let them proceed as planned and agreed.
Their 2021 studies, based on Chuditch , Sunrise and Kelp going to Beaco on Timor
while Sundagas/Boil promoting our own FPSO Plan.
Timor, just needs to give some clarity and transparency, to the new license holders
with their PSC's signed off, all options open. To get the Majors to dive back in for
all the vacant licenses.
Our best hope and long time favourite, is still the Santos/ENI/Korean , in the same waters
group, their Bayu about to end, Santos looking for a new HUB/Pipeline to Darwin for Gas
with the Bayu - Darwin pipeline to convert to waste/carbon output and storage.
They have a joint MOU, to acquire more Timor Sea assets, Chuditch ticks all their boxes.
