RE: IN FULL: Woodside Energy CEO Meg O'Neill addressed National Press Club | ABC News20 Apr 2023 11:19
It's all like share churn CDF, same old looking, talking about more
talks, will review and chat once more, lol, they and Megs predecessors
have done this dance many times for two decades. With the TL side
on numerous occasions , saying its done/ours and soon.
Until we see a statement that has actual actions, going to fund, going to build
etc, the music plays and the Timor Tango continues, lol
For our own part, we could still get an early mover, expectations being high
that this time a breakthrough will come with substance.
Not just the Minister , having had another year of SUCCESSFUL meetings with US, Chinese
Japanese , Indonesian , Australian officials and Gary down at the Dog and Duck.
After Horta calling OZ nothing but a bully etc, late last year and threats to remove Woodside
and OZ from the equation, Japan getting into a MOU with Woodside and them U turning on
Sunrise options.
Think this time, imo it will finally happen for the Island, TL have given notice to Woodside
USE IT OR LOSE IT !!!
With around 30 tcf (poss more on dev) known in the offshore trend , that lines up with the
OZ/Indonesian Timor Sea discoveries , be crazy not to expect to find more, in the unexplored
Gaps.
Woodside , would be crazy not to get involved (50-100 tcf potential ?) with Beaco, especially
if Gusmao's law remains, all WILL come to the Island and its own locally manned Industry.
