1. It takes more far energy to break hydrogen -oxygen bonds than hydrogen-carbon bonds.

3. The renewable energy generators suggested cost more in CO2 to manufacture than they produce during their lifetimes.
4. China hasn't explained why it is still building coal-fired power stations whilst manufacturing vital components for said generators.
5. China produces rare-earth neodymium magnets for wind turbines and silicon tetra-chloride for solar panels. Production of both leads to toxic chemicals being released into the environment as well as massive amounts of CO2 gas. CO2 is REQUIRED to make solar panels in the crystallization process and there currently China isn't concerned with the emissions despite signing the Paris Agreement .
6. The yield of hydrogen produced from methane is far higher than from water because of the basic fact that there's more hydrogen in the molecules. There ways other than steam-reforming that avoid CO2 emission altogether, instead producing pure carbon-black, which is a useful by-product in industry.
7. Hydrogen storage is a major problem because it's expensive to store pressurized gas in heavy cylinders. Ammonia has be suggested but that requires large emissions of CO2. What has been overlooked is DI-METHYL-ETHER which can be synthesized quite easily from natural gas, has a higher hydrogen density than most forms of hydrogen and is easier to store than LNG, or hydrogen gas with less leakage for the same conditions.
