The UK govt won't allow Britain to use it's own gas because the only real option is to frack.
They are importing from America and that's fracked.
Figure that one out!

As for hydrogen, the best (most productive & economic) way to produce it is from fracked gas.

But there are alternatives; some of which Igas is involved with or looked into, like anaerobic digestion of food or even sewage waste, which includes the option of direct conversion to hydrogen instead of via methane.

There is also electrolysis, but that has the downside of quickly degrading system components, like electrodes breaking down. This kind of maintenance problem, as far as I see, is the main reason why it's better to extract hydrogen from hydrocarbons or from bioreactors, aside from the increased yield obtained.

Some points:
1.Refineries are on strike in & around the UK.
2.ICE vehicles will be phased out by govt mandate by 2025.
3.Chips from Taiwan very scarce, so that's a problem for EVs too.
4.Only thing left is hydrogen, which IGasEnergy can make in large amounts.

The question is: 'How many chips do fuel cell cars use vs battery EVs?'

So, if Rishi et al are still in power in 2 years, the country will come to a standstill because hardly anyone can afford the new EVs full of chips, so the car industry will largely have to regress back to the chipless age & back to archaic ICEs...
or they can embrace hydrogen & fuel-cells.

They have been making new cars unaffordable, especially EVs.
It's down to lockdowns, chip shortage & others, avoiding public transport, too much money printing...etc.
Also, we might also have to factor in WEF agendas like 'Net Zero' & 'You will own nothing but will be happy'.

Well, I expect the chances of govt U-turn on their 2025 agenda to be similar to that of a "snowball's chance in hell".
They will send us back to the Stone Age (or even pre-combustion, so even more primative), or they put all of the serf-class in smart-cities and use district-heating to keep them warm, because there will be too much demand for electric heating on the grid if they ban gas/oil heating. Hopefully, they will use geothermal for this and this share price will gain upwards momentum, like a "snowball effect".

I'd expect heavy resistance from an NIMBY anti-nuke lobby.

They aren't saying anything about geothermal though, even if that could potentially causes small tremors.
If you go deep enoughevery geothermal well is ultimately getting a great portion of it's energy from a gigantic nuclear reactor deep underground that spews out lots of heat.
