Now, I told Igas to import LNG themselves over a couple of months ago,
because it was clear what was going to happen.

Whether they did this or not we can only deduce when they issue an RNS regarding gas trades.

As you can see: from April toJune 2022, gas exports went up +576% compared to 2021.
Oil export was down -2.4% due to higher demand at that time.

Also, natural gas production increased by more than 50 % and oil production increased by 10 %.
That gas will be largely from the North Sea. Only ~1.5% of UK natural gas production is currently on land.

OIL is still pretty high except for China's special deal with Russia (at cost), but that will keep prices high in the West as less Russian oil will be available.

Expect Biden to maintain high prices also, at least in the 70s.
All he has to do is suspend some drilling in the US or fill up the reserves again.

Power cuts up north. This YouTuber "funkyprepper" below was one of them.
He heard about backup generators being installed and "blackout blinds" for a power station.
A contractor that worked at the power station overheard a conversation about that,
and they said that the blinds were to "minimise distress to the local population" or words to that effect.

This reminded me of an idea I had previously. Igas are storing co2 and hydrogen in disused wells, so why not just use that in an energy storage system, with the option of a geothemal loop built into the system? This would be a massive battery that slowly recharges itself (pressure increases) from geothermal heat. Also, could include a solar array system alongside this or as another option. Igas have been involved with solar installation also.
