I'm on board with that they'll reduce that viral load building up inside the mask, could not one hospital be given a delivery free of charge for a. proof of efficacy and b. Superb PR & Goodwill builder

What I want to see in testing is what accumulates over set periods of time on the outside layer and the inside & what effect the AV layer is going to have on the percentage of air inhaled around the edges of the non fitted mask.
The main difference between a non fitted IIR and an FFP style is that air that is inhaled around the edges so any improvement in protection to the user will depend on that as well as the effect it has on accumulated load on the mask.

Hi Richmond, was gonna be back in today but frustrated to be honest, I think with a little extra testing all doubts could be dispelled and turbo charge the media attention.

Fair do's if that was the main point you were making, the whole paragraph about FFP2 could have been omitted IMO as there are some folk on this BB who still think P2F are making FFP2

barz Why all the info about FFP2 and their testing when P2F masks are IIR that will never meet that classification? Completely irrelevant!

Data of what the AV layer does to droplets applied directly to it is completely irrelevant as to what it will do to air inhaled past it, also figures for what on the outside layer of the mask after periods of use will determine how they are handled.
If the testing already done is as far as they are going to go then that will be disappointing and may limit this product.
There is quite mask-specific testing that could show the details that will make or break these.

CE is different to C E which stands for Chinesium Excrement

7 hours and 90% are the only real details put out, the filtration rate is moot as it has to be up there to get the iso and with IIRC a percentage is inhaled around the sides.
Are we going to get some proper test data? or are they just going to sell these as IIR masks with the 7 hour 90% bonus vague claim?
I know you think I'm being a pedant but this really does matter, media would be all over this with proper data and cautious without.

Does anyone know if any P2F IIR have been sent off to get some comparative performance tests done, some facts and figures would fly around social media a lot better than what they have put out so far.

Well it's Italian, same as press release I read before, lacking in detail but given world events it will float around the world so that's good but it's just a little too early to start trying to conquer the world. As I said previously, testing to prove its true benefits will need to be published.
Still lacking UK coverage though.

I was in @1.42 & out @1.88 then put that into ARB for a short burst.
I've pulled a few rampers up on their silly bull sheet but everything I said was believed to be factual, NHS sentiment I wasn't far off if you read the petition letter I linked to. Crucial questions on the way the AV layer works on air inhaled not through the mask layers but around the edges, I've seen testing done on other masks for that so it's quite normal to want that data to judge these properly.
Also maqsood I repeatedly said shareholders would do OK so hopefully they did listen to that.

The word "range" was the most intriguing for me, normally they would just say a "number of interested parties", does that hint at there being an interested party that isn't from the mining sector?

That reads as if they have the option of complete sale or JV maybe still with some involvement.

Oh BTW I purchased vented FFP3 masks from a DIY retailer last week for a couple of quid a piece, in bulk, non vented, they don't need to cost a fiver each.

Wrennus for stopping inhalation of particles I would chose an FFP1 over the P2F IIR, I've worn both in dusty environments and the difference is night and day so crux of the claim you're making is how the P2F mask acts on particles as they are inhaled around the edges of the mask, tests exist for that but haven't been done, that's what I'm waiting on.
Hope they are shown to make a difference
