Good luck everyone, my last ever post on RMS which I'm sure you'll be glad about.

Clamari Nearly every RMS I read said full company sale or asset sale, if they are considering something other than full company sale it must be lucrative.

FYI Anti microbial means it deactivates microbes including viruses, some are based on Lactoferrin that has been shown to be effective against Covid-19, I'm not saying that mask does, and most are very vague with their marketing wa*k, if you've read my posts you'll know I'm all about proper testing.
They've gone the pure retail route, they can BS and get away with it, if P2F put peer reviewed papers out there it puts them in a different league.

Just been shopping, old chap with mask on his forehead blowing disgusting amounts of goop and snot into a well used handkerchief, was he going to walk to the sanitising station straight after, no chance.

acaciatan Behaviour is the biggest thing we could do and always will be, it's free and works. A supermarket is full of people who had a snot soaked fabric mask in their pocket which they touch on their way in and then handle all the food. A nice big box of masks at the entrance (preferably P2F ones) and a guy at the exit making sure they get disposed of on the way out would make huge difference.
My local Tesco was shutdown yesterday, 50 members of staff caught the virus and one died, the footfall through that supermarket in a week is huge!

Comment I made about single digit effect was based in health care setting BTW because they work very carefully anyway, out amongst the plebs like you and me it could make bigger difference.

Brazil making a biodegradable one from what I was reading last night.
I'm on board with the P2F used in exactly the same way as other IIR 's, agree they will reduce transmission, reduce viral load experienced by the wearer in healthcare setting. 90% kill rate doesn't equate to 90% reduction in transmission though, single digit in percentage terms would be what I'd expect and that would be worth it.
I do get concerned when I read comments like the masks will be able to be handled without rick of contamination when no figures have been put out for what accumulates on the outside of that 10% not deactivated, if something is 10% still alive it's not entirely dead, just like Michael Myers who will then resurrect, make a sequel and poor old Jamie Lee Curtis has to come back out of retirement again.
I hope P2F have been working on some marketing blurb so all made clear.

Explain though, if it deactivates 90% of the virus surely 10% accumulates?
So if you wear a P2F mask for 180 minutes for example it would have accumulated the same amount of live virus on it's surface as an ordinary mask would in 20 minutes?

Surely this just cannot be true if 10% isn't deactivated?
This is one of the loose ends needs tying up for me, or has this been covered somewhere else?

I thought, of all the posters on this BB, mac would have jumped on the "wide range" phrase given he was so sold on the Tesla theory for a while, I'm intrigued as to why they chose those words.
I could do with my money back by the spring for some building work so crossed fingers for the text couple of months.

Yes mararab, also horses for courses, vulnerable folk maybe better with fitted masks, vast majority IIR., I have a relative who works for MITIE, exactly the sort of customer I'd be targeting, they issued a fabric mask to each of their employees, JUST ONE though :-(

Hello Kainos, Check my recent posts, I've been behaving myself, my points are all reasoned and about the product and not the company so I don't see the problem. I was even nice to Richmond today :-)
I've had holders who've responded to me today who are saying NHS is a no go and then I get holders who bang the drum that the NHS needs these vital masks so there's no general consensus on here, as far as I can see, about where the sales are going to come from and therefor how big it will get.
I have researched the subject from a lot of different viewpoints and I do get frustrated when I see stuff I know is just plain wrong but I've kept it cordial last week or two.
I made 3k in a day and missed out the next day - not bothered by that.
The NHS will be a tough nut to crack, the USP is one that seems to resonate with the general public.
For my own mask use, if they're only action is on accumulated viral load in the mask, they would make little difference, I don't wear my mask for long periods. For key workers front of house dealing with the public I can see the benefits.

It doesn't kill 99.985% of the virus, that's the filtration figure, similar to that of ordinary IIR masks.
You made a really nicely laid out post but getting the facts wrong about the product doesn't help, I'm a pedant by nature, this BB not good for the OCD. :-)
