The length of the exclusivity period mainly depends on the BG approving the Environmental Authorisation. Without it, the exclusivity deal will lapse. However, the BG has approved the oil and gas refinery, which will need a lot of crude oil to refine. My guess is that the current discussions are all about money and who gets what in percentage terms. It's always about the money and the BG will be pushing for their share to benefit the Bahamas population. As an oil find will be very beneficial to the BG and it won't cost them a penny, they should be saying "Please get on with it and lower our colossal debt and make us popular for a future reelection". The SP will rise withcontinued news to support the momentum. I'm sure Simon Potter knows this.

If the exclusivity deal falls through, the Major will not be named. BPC's news will be "Exclusivity Agreement allowed to lapse to enable the Company to engage with other interested parties." If the deal goes through, BPC's news will be "Yabbadabbadooo!"

THE BG is raising VAT and residency permits to more than double in their budget. 3D seismics show geology but cannot determine if there is oil gas or water. That's why there's no big hitters buying at the moment. It's still a big risk but I'm hoping that the SP can reach 20p and I am out of AIM forever. Got stung with TRP stating that oil was 'glowing in the dark' after their 3D seismics and the latest drill ship couldn't reach depth and TRP still had to pay Repsol. As the BG has more ties with the US than UK, a US major is more likely is more likely to be gaining all BPC's info. Daveyboy71 is right. I 'invested' 5K is this con. After the BODs workings, I now have 480 shares worth nothing, which means to sell these shares I would have to PAY my broker to dump them. I'm hoping that some day the SP will be 10p and then the shares will be sold and I will still have zero. The BOD has done this on purpose to get rid of all the previous 'investors' and mug new 'investors'. Does anyone have any proof that Repsol drilled for TRP? When I called an office in Namibia and asked about the drill ship they just laughed and said 'There's nothing here'.

Seen it all before with African Petroleum. They had a binding exclusivity agreement with a 'well funded, listed oil and gas company with a strong track record in offshore deep-water drilling'. there was a share capital increase. When the deal 'lapsed' the 'major' was never revealed and a government official told AP that they would only deal with Majors. The BPC story is practically a carbon copy of African Petroleum so far. do you really think that a ruthless international oil company is going to say "Please Mr Potter, can we be your farm-in partner? We will pay for everything, take all the risk and share the proceeds if we find any oil." Yeah, right.

BPC is following the trend of last years events to do with African Petroleum. they struck a deal in 2017 with an undisclosed 'Major' . RNS 18th April 2017. Two months later, they had an extension to the exclusivity deal with the 'well funded, listed oil and gas company with a strong track record in offshore deep-water drilling.' On July 20th the exclusivity deal lapsed. In October 2017 the government became an obstacle to securing a farm-in. On the 18th December, a government minister hinted that the government would only deal with Major oil companies. BPC could then be in a M&A situation. After all, the BPC BOD will look after themselves, not us the PIs. Someone please tell me this can't happen to us and also tell me why.

The SP has NEVER been 87p. The highest was about 21p in 2010. If the SP rises to 20p I would be very happy, but this is a gamble like all oil shares.

If we are very, very lucky and the SP gets to 18 to 20p then I'll take it.
