What's the point of the tests in those that cannot?

They are taking their time because they need to get it right. This in my opinion will become the standard authorised test. It's no good testing people if the results are unreliable. If they do not get it right then Novacyt test is one of many, the test results and data are one of many.
Gold standard test will be distributed worldwide by multiple licencees....
Of course just.my thoughts.

But yes it is a very serious situation. I am not a worrier generally, but this is getting serious. Most of us have families, its our duty to look after them, so i dont really see why taking this action is anything else but a wise move.
Hopefully its not going to be needed.

Hmm for posters who have spent days researching this virus to actually take the "mick" about someone being proactive is a little confusing.

I went shopping last night for the weekly shop, I bought extra long life products to store and not use.will do the same next week.
At the best I can see prices rising at the worst a shortage.
Just playing safe....no panic yet.

The more I think about this the more excited I get about Novacyt and more worried about the actual effects.
I chat with people at work...they couldn't care less because it's not affecting them...yet, but it will one way or another.

if you are scared of losing your money then you will more often than not make the wrong one. OF course it plays on the emotions...yesterday i thought i was an idiot for buying 6 times on the drop...today a different feeling.
