Might be why all the sells - 95% of todays sell orders according to www.londonstockexchange.com!!
I'd steer clear of this one, not sure what barclays are up to but I'm sure they can afford the risk.
and everything is going to be fine.

Twelve times the 2010 recovery earnings....
they are at twelve times the estimated earnings for 2010. In short doing better than was expected.
dyor. too late to jump on this boat IMO
Panmure Gordon cuts Pendragon (PDG.LN) to hold from buy.
Makes call as the shares have performed well of late, and have started to exceed the brokerage''s target price of 26p.
"While we believe there is scope for significant recovery longer term, we think the shares look fair value, currently on 12x 2010 recovery earnings," it adds.
my understanding - it could make more money later but we want to cash in so don't sell please kthxbai.
Majority of assets tied into bonds - not a good thing at the moment, long term would be a guess
Does not have a recovery plan - more of a "keep head above water" plan.
Ver very long term is optimistic. GL & DYOR
When someone sells a boatload of shares the Effect is : SP goes down.
Use google queries to find who is doing the selling next time.
According to http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=20090609163610P15FC
The company that sold a ginourmous amount of shares was VIDACOSS NOMINEES (?) <-- they are the cause of said Effect as the merovingian would say.
For those curious they bought DOMINOS PIZZA on the same day and bought alot! of BRITISH AIRWAYS stock yesterday.
Anyone else have another source of info?
"and will sell the MIDAS instrument from FY10"
from : http://www.edisoninvestmentresearch.co.uk/research/category/Carphone%20Warehouse
search for Avacta in that document - its from 18th May so I dunno what you are expecting, FY10 could be anytime from now till next Avril.
Cool beans. I unfortunately got in early 08... so need a higher profit margin.
Also being new at this I did not buy in when it went lower but bought again at £2.1 probs on the same day as you from a few weeks ago.
In for the long haul/ steel recovery / new factory production, but will keep an eye out / tweak my programme for Uncertainty.
Google , the oracle is your friend - http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/cgt/index.htm
Not holding out for the long term then? I guess I am being greedy with the profit margin. GL with your other trades.

Other than that I would be guessing - gd luck and dyor
On the growth policies - I haven't unearthed anything but I am sure there will be or are some aquisitions in the pipeline for them. Good for long term but might reflect negatively in share price. Will hold tight until the steel industry revival.
RSA does seem to do its own thing - you got any theories why? Mine is their global footprint in emerging markets insurance industry. [dyor & gl]
o_O?
I believe Galaxy also thinks there will be a bounce once the dust from the split settles. I agree. Good luck to all those who bought before close of play last week.
Yeah why would a company that is completely undervalued want to cut out smal/ individuall buyers from potentially getting a large portion of public shares. I'm sure you can think of a few reasons. [use CRX as an example] Some people are speculating on a boost in steel demand from China & India. Which should have a direct effect on cksn. [dyor]
You now get your share volume divided by 10. New share certs will be issued @ GBP1 not GBP0.1 DO NOT SELL Does anyone have an opinion or data regarding possible recovery of Steel demand from emerging markets for end of this financial year or later? They are down since last week from 25p anyway so you would be trading at a loss dyor ... or speak to your stock broker first!
