Morning all, I had to sell some yesterday as I had some bills to pay. Amongst that was a CGT bill of over 10k from my holdings that are outside of an ISA. Just to remind people that money owed to HMRC is due by the end of the month, so if you have money owed, now is the time to think about releasing. I'm fully aware I am most likely amongst the minority doing a self assesment. I personally think the time has past where they won't notice on share gains. ATB.

Well I guess although the trading update was good and in line with forecasts, it wasn't anything unexpectedly good.

Overshadowed potentially by UK economic growth release today, ALWAYS seems there is a conflicting macro economic release when ever RR has good news just to dampen our hopes!!

But nevertheless, US is up and running again, SMRs in Wales that are RR and not US, trading update in line with forecasts, if not slightly better.

Only thing worrying me is Rachel Reeves budget due soon and this Turkish military plane that downed with Allison engines which someone pointed out RR does actually have something to do with as although not RR engines, they are a US subsidiary of Rolls Royce.
