Well seeing the rest of my portfolio seems to be on a minus 4-8% drop today, a slight green here I guess isn't the worst that could have happened!

I bet we were all tempted to top slice at 158!
I also bet some people will claim that they had and made a nice packet! Good on you if you did, I personally didn't have the balls :)

Found it strange that the futures market was positive by almost one and a half percent Sunday and we dropped almost three and a half percent by end of trade Monday

Why would they be seeking to expand manufacturing and business floor space by 200,000m3? AUKUS :)

Disappointed in the 5% drop, however a retrace was inevitable. We are only back to earlier in the week levels. As it's all in my ISA, it's not finances I wish to access in the near future so I am not too bothered. The longer term hikes are what essentially matters. I'm very tolerant of drops as I'm sure a lot of us are from the past few years!
However the shares in my everyday share dealing account are about 10% down from the past few weeks which is unfortunate as I will need to access some of that money in a couple of months. But again I'm most likely up overall in that account too. It's all putting things in perspective, nothing to be worried about here. No one knows when a drop will come, so impossible to time to make gains unless extremely fortunate.
Hope weekend goes well and next week even better!

My largest book cost investment at the moment. If I've learnt anything over the years (and I haven't!), Keep your money in until you reach your targets, don't let yourself get spooked :)
There was one acception to that and that was AIM, I no longer touch those with a barge pole!!

My son's Junior ISA is up 82% on a £1k investment in what seems to be about 6 months. Not bad for an 8 month old!
Dad's considerably better off too as he has a much larger holding all in multiple years of ISA wrappers ;)
Long may the rises continue, especially for those who like myself have held for the past 3 years.

Why is anyone entertaining Kew, I blocked him after his third post if drivel. Now all I see is a forum of green blocked messages and everyone still engaging with him. Makes it almost pointless for me to have blocked him!

I wouldn't read too much into that idea Ed1. Would be nice and I wouldn't rule it out 100%. But personally don't believe that's the play for the time being. Happy to be proved wrong though. No point anymore than hypothesising about far reaching ideas from the stratosphere.

I am over exposed here and got in at around 2.75ish av. I'm not too worried. But was hoping for a quicker time frame to be fair but it's still early days. Quite happy to hold for 12 months.

Not sure it's a rise if they have lowered their target price... Nice if them to change from hold to buy though.
Wish this would get a wriggle on, I wanted a reasonably quick turnaround here and now I'm stuck ;)

With the end of the financial tax year looming 5/6th April and reduction in CGT allowance from £12,300 to I believe £3000 in the following year. Just a reminder for all those to utilise your ISA allowance for this year and next year of £20k respectively.
If you have realised any losses, make sure you declare those in your self assessment so they can be rolled over and accounted for for the next 5 years.
And let's all pray they don't cap ISA tax free limit to 100k as they further try to punish people who proactively save for their future.
I'm thankful that I have all my RR Shares within my ISA so gains are protected (for the moment anyway).
What ever you do, take advantage of what is out there this year and the next. Don't put it off.
If you are tempted to 'Bed and ISA', don't leave it until the last day..
