Cruithe, i enjoy your posts, thank you, balanced & fair ( unlike most of my rants, born out of 4 x years of frustration i hasten to add & still am!)
In an ideal world, i concur. However, clearly CH is stating some things are out of his timings control. And we are heading into Winter. Obviously that doesnt prevent paperwork being signed though on the points you make. I'm no expert as to how easy it is to hook up our assets to the pipeline once all those ducks are lined up & how weather / winter effects this.
Reality is, i don't see a JV deal done until the potential JV / investors see the 3 x wells producing & online. Albiet, a heads of terms subject too deal could be signed much sooner with caveats re 3 x wells coming on line. Even a mention of this would aid the SP ( subject to 3 x wells online & all regulatory / commercial paperwork done & signed ).
Finally, as always we are all each to their own re our timings for profit or loss / outside forced commitments perhaps etc etc. One thing we can all agree on, its that only time will prove us right or wrong on ZPHR. Don't forget, we wouldn't be having weekly meetings with Enbridge ( CH said this in the interview) & closing off all the paperwork to get wells online, if it wasnt going to happen. Question is, when will it.
I still maintain we are definetely getting there on various fronts, as painfully slow as it has been. But the O&G business does take time & a lot of it & many aspects are truthfully out of CH's control ( local government / regulatory paperwork etc ) Massive positives for us though re the Gas prices & increased demand = much more interest in ZPHR & the paradox surely.
