They seem to have downgraded expectations there going from...

To no update at all until the finals late April where they've simply stated

" Executed well test on Ernestinovo-3 well in Croatia, satisfying exploration licence obligations. Data analysis from the well, once completed, will allow a ranking exercise for all three licences and lead to the production of a development plan for the most prospective opportunity"

No talk on flowrates at all let alone the promised high flow rates expected and in the Croatia ops section of the finals they try to claim that

"The primary objective of the testing programme was to secure the licence and obtain additional technical data on permeability and chemistry" which seems odd given their Dec claim that

All seems too woolly for them being about to report anything but disappointing flowrates imo.

Re Mt Winter1 should be taken onboard they're after the hydrocarbons ae well as the helium. helium has become popular but they had 67m's of oil shows too which I believe they can exploit if helium is a no show at that location?

Several significant oil shows were encountered in Mt Winter #1:

a. The basal Stairway Sandstone 150m-190m (40m) with bright blue white fluroescence and a moderate to fast yellow cut; oil was also reported in the drilling mud over this interval;

b. Sporadic poor shows in the Horn Valley Siltstone source beds;

c. Live oil in sandstones of the Johnny’s Creek Beds 1,734m-1,761m (27m); this

occurred with common heavy black residual oil exhibiting yellow fluorescence and instant yellow to green cut. Gas up to C6 (hexane) was also recorded in this interval.

Some comments were made in the Mt Winter #1 WCR that some of the more porous and permeable sections in these intervals may have had oil displaced by drilling fluids further into the formation; a common occurrence when onshore drilling in Australia was dominated by water gel barites mud types which were frequently overweight.

The few recordings of mud weight were in a range approaching 9 ppg, ie definitely moderately overweight for a saline marine formation fluid and possibly heavy enough to displace oil into the formation."

As at 31 March 2024, Mosman had cash at bank of circa AUD$0.82 million.

Each to their own but still prefer msmn. Australian based so no worries about being caught up in any uprisings, huge resources split between two plays and stupidly low priced thanks to the markets not believing their farm ins will ever get across the line.

Croatian Geothermal Licencing Round Update

Star Energy (AIM:STAR) is pleased to announce its Croatian subsidiary* has been issued with two highly prospective geothermal licences by the Croatian Hydrocarbon Agency, as part of the current licencing round announced on 28 December 2022.

"The two licences, each with an initial five year exploration term, Sječe and Pčelić, are located in the Drava depression geological region (the southwestern area of the Pannonian basin), the same region in which its recently acquired Ernestinovo licence is located. The licence commitments are to drill four and three wells respectively, however given the density of existing data on the licences, it is expected that only the first well on each licence will be an exploration/appraisal well."

Looking forward to results where hopefully we'll find out how quickly they plan to move on this as well as results from ernestinova.

Not quite true, not unless they lose all the court cases they have ongoing with the different countries that have broken contracts with them.

How much are they suing for in total? I know its a lot but lose count at times like this.

The section on helium starts at around 1 hour 41 mins. Apparently they believe they've already found the sweet spot, one which intersects the hydrogen, helium and gas plays.

I had a gander at the coal hub to see if I could warrant a buy on the back of a recovery in the metcoal price but noted even aussie coal is off- now $245/T from c. $350/T not so long ago.

Even China's slowing down on purchases.

Sad days for producers much preferred our $400 days.
