re going forwards should note that all that's been said by the "bulls" today is if the market starts to believe the South African Gov will be a more determined partner than Knott's co. then the sp will rise on spec of a deal being done is all which after a bit of reading up on S.A needing and pushing for more oil seems likely if they find a play that interests them.

Possibly but just as likely to be lack of belief anything will come of it. It is only a collaboration agreement so far and peeps waited an age to see if Savannah would do anything then they didn't.

Have more confidence in this deal myself as its with a more interesting player than savannah which is tasked with looking after S.A's oil security from what I can see and the waits not too long imo as the collaboration Agreement expires 5th Aug but advising others that it "will" amount to a highly profitable deal is beyond my paygrade.
