Think the Chinese will be able to take more control now. Bangla's already billion's in debt to China and one of the reasons for their trip appears to have been to get the interest rates dropped.

Thinking now its down to China's desire to move a large portion of manufacturing to Bangla and Power China's appetite for the project more than any Bangla Gov decision and wouldn't be surprised if China decides they want Junus to stay for stability either.

Don't know that for a fact just a gut feeling for now.

Wonder how long it will be before China fully decides policy in Bangla with the investment they're throwing into it? Don't see how the interim Gov or BNP will be in a position to say no to them soon if they keep accepting their funding and become a chinese built outsourced manufacturing hub?

Think at this sp level we wait on more newsflow that the different parties agree Phulbari is a go more than anything else.

Timeframe not so important yet with the marketcap so out of whack with the $Billions expected to be invested by PowerChina and profits made when it is up and running.

That's what makes this such a great speculative play/traders dream imho.

Can't see the placee's being very happy if they couldn't pre sell these smallcap placings. Being locked in whilst pi's sell the co. down to 15% below what they took discounted shares at? Placing market would dry up in no time and no one would be able to raise funds for their business .

Sometimes what's considered legal or fair has to be superseded by what works imo and allowing pre selling so your placee's aren't taken out by the cruel nature of the market is a prime example imo.

Don't worry myself about the products here but must admit its going through my mind that the sp is being deliberately pulled down for a cheap management buyout before they get this &100M PRV they RNS'd all that time ago now.

They had to pass phase 1 and 2 testing then get market approval before being able to get it and with phase 2 on the way they're getting closer.

I think they did ok with their 3p a share but we should bear in mind that apart from the recent spike which enabled the raise at that level these shares were below 3p from 1st Sept 24 onwards so no one can really say they didn't get the chance to buy in cheaper both before and after the raise.

Noted they're still updating on X all the time. Seem to be getting on with developing the business ok. Just a shame they seem so nonchalant about the sp.

See the results as a bit of a non issue myself. They have no revenue they can announce until they start stripping the overburden and the market knows full well they're lossmaking til then.

Agree the going forwards part may ignite some interest but believe general news from Bangla that sentiment has turned is more useful for now.

re the amount of shares and that £45 figure surprised the shares have only gone from 50M to 333M in all that time. If they've not had a consolidation thats quite a result in itself imo.

Another piece on the issues re Bangla's energy situation.

They've just had electricity supplies resumed after four months cut off for non payment from an Indian power co.

Deal was said to be too much in the favour of the Indian co, according to Bangla press and was instigated during Hasina's rule.

Take it this is part of the corruption she's accused of (back handers?) and ties with Indian co's likely why India aren't keen to give her up for trial?

Interesting piece imo.

Bangla's in a mess with energy security with tenders being unbid due to lack of belief they can pay it seems.

Gas is getting dearer and domestic coal is still the most viable option they have being cheaper than their claimed prices for green still.

Really can't see how they're going to become China's manufacturing hub without using their own reserves whether thats Phulbari or not its obvious they can't keep going as they are...

China's chock a block with coal for now. Surprised they're not pushing to export to Bangla at reduced prices with the newsflow on coal levels there.

Not something they could have rushed to please the market by the sounds of it either. Glad for the update on it all the same and looking forward to linda.
