Dubai air show next week will hopefully bring in lots of orders for wide bodies as Boeing still unable to get the 777X certified that could result in additional orders for A330 and A350, Emirates a potential customer.

Flew business to Berlin last week on BA (did use some Avios) had a very good experience, I usually use the South lounge at LHR but as flight was departing from a B gate I took the opportunity to use the B gate lounge, what a totally different experience, it was quiet and relaxing, with a good food selection. On board typical standard seat but again service from the crew was excellent, return leg was in economy but again the crew were really friendly, a stark contrast to a few years ago when Easyjet were certainly friendlier, changes are happening at BA and hopefully for the good, they are undertaking a massive reorganisation programme with more modern aircraft and interior refurbishment.

Unbelievable to see it's still dropping you have to wonder where the bottom is ? although not outstanding figures were good certainly not bad enough to warrant a 10% drop.

But is next week going to be any better L_L-P ?

This week I have flown BA 'business ' on short haul to Berlin and got to admit had a really good experience, from the ground staff in the B gate lounge to the cabin crew and food on board things certainly have improved.
