Think it's a bit premature to say bad news for RR hopefully in a few days normal life will be resumed at the moment .

Has been suggested that there could be a massive order from China, will Emirates order the A350-1000 considering the ongoing issues with the Boeing 777X?

Received mine through Freetrade late yesterday afternoon

No benefit to RR but Vietjet order at the Paris airshow for 100 A321 NEO just confirms the importance of the narrow body market especially with the problems at P&W

I was expecting today to be another good day, especially with some more orders from Paris we've got the big one from China to come (hopefully)

Airbus reconsidering lengthened version of the 350-1000 >350-2000 to accommodate extra 40 seats obviously powered by uprated RR engines

as direct competition to the 777X

What a dissapointing day after such a promising start , we didn't have to wait until the 11th to get the news that so many of us have been waiting for. Possible uplift again if Airbus get big orders for wide bodies at the Paris airshow.

787 still having issues as is the 777X which is still having certification problems so that really only leaves the RR powered 330 & 350
